From the Announcement Thread:
Quote:4. You must play at least 20 public matches and earn a total of 20,000 War Points during the 3 day event as the Templar in order to qualify for the Templar reward. Matches played without the Templar character and/or without the Templar dropsuit equipped will not count towards the reward requirement!
I would like to know if those requirements are still on the table? The event should have been the 31st to the 2nd (Friday-Sunday) Giving everyone the weekend. Then it got pushed back Saturday-Monday, and during the event CCP had the attack on their server. This leaves the people who volunteered for this event **** out of luck for play time. It is impossible for me to get the 20k War points before the end of the event, and even if it is extended another 24 hours, its a work week and I work 12 hour shifts. I have zero interest in sitting down hours at a time grinding away.
So bottom line my question is:
Is the 20k WP still going to be a requirement? Is the Templar Event going to be extended? |

I just hit 20k lol.
lol I didn't mean its impossible for everyone, for me it is. I have a full time job 60 hours a week, and a family. I enjoy the game, but you wont see me grinding away for hours on end. |

You assume the CPM actually has inside knowledge or power, I think for the most part they don't. |

I work shift work sadly. My best time to play would have been last night. |

However they also said that might change and they might just extend the event a few days.
Not to sound like an ass when I say this, but who are you and what "sources" do you have? A random buddy who works at Sony and CCP?
Link to where this stuff was said? I would be more than happy if its true. |

I am Winscar_Shinobi, i used to help run events for Sony, was asked to help with Sonys Side of this event, ran a few contests for them for Templar slots and so on. Had a friend email CCP about this and that was their response.
*nods* Good stuff, thanks for the info. |
