Heat has nothing to do with damage, it's based on time alone.

- First, adjust your aim sensitivity in the options menu and use trial and error to find a setting that your comfortable with. It took me 2 weeks to find mine.
- On the iron sights, you'll notice 3 white lights. When you fire the laser rifle, the beam will hit whatever the middle while light is over. Put the middle white light on a mid-ranged target and pull the trigger. Remember to track the target.

The problem isn't the sights - it's the big green glow that blocks most everything out. that's a problem that EVERY SINGLE EXPERIENCED LR user has had. Having to guess which way someone went because you can't see them because the glow blocked them out and your suit is telling you you aren't damaging anyone. You need to be able to see with a precision weapon.
It's not that I don't agree that their could be a better scope for the laser rifle; it's that people whining that the rifle is unusable with iron sights is silly. Yes CEO Pyrex, I am calling you silly. 514

But it's a perfectly valid reason to re-balance weapons. If a certain weapon is getting outperformed consistently at the ranges it's supposed to do well at that is a concern, and should be reported to the devs. |
