I don't even consider getting picked up when I die.
It's completely broken.
I drop uplinks and proto nanohives, I used to love running logi but the role changed. Those still running traditional logi I think are doing a disservice to themselves.
yep I honestly forget it can happen, the 4 times it happened I was so dumbfounded at being picked up I had no idea what happened.
I was second guessing remembering dieing, before the thought of being picked up, that's how bad it is. |

Logis would be logistics, not better assaults. Logis aren't better assaults, they just have better fitting options to make them versatile. Look at their base stats and compare them to their racial assault equivalent. The Amarr suit is the most underpowered, Gallente and Minmatar are well balanced, but the Caldari racial bonus needs to be reworked. Having up to 35% shield module efficiency is on the level of game breaking. But despite that, flux grenades, scrambler rifles and even scrambler pistols can make short work of them since they're usually slow and 3 out of the 4 suits lack a sidearm. If you can't kill a logi pretending to be an assault, look at the faults in your fittings before you judge another. I've seen a lot of Minmatar assaults running with dual flaylocks that get 4 shots in the clip thanks to their racial bonus. Are you going to complain about that too because they figured out a new way to play? Caldari logi makes for an outstanding assault. Like I said above, their racial bonus to shield extenders is too powerful. The bonus needs to be scaled down to bring it down to the level of the other suits. Limiting them to sidearms isn't the answer. I'm a heavy and I'd rather have a logi with me fighting and patching me up between fights than a private butler that's more of a liability. Looking at the assaults though, out of curiosity, how often do you see them taking advantage of that shield recharging bonus? The potential for +35% shield recharger efficiency seems pretty useful if you fit accordingly. Is everyone just relying on complex extenders and a buffer or something? |

Yep, both ways after Uprising. Once stayed at kill screen. Was able to see needle aproaching. Readied my L stick and even managed to do POWERSLIDE All you have to do is stay in kill screen apparently to get rezzed... and to rezz succesfully.
Maybe there is some corelation with staying at kill screen and rezzing? Like if you go to respawn screen, needles stop working? |

Well it doesn't help that you have to skill into LvL 3 Med suits to become a logi, that might have scared some people away and yes the Freaking revive is broken...can only pick up people half the time.
Don't get me wrong I do like the new advancements , but I think the whole revive system was better before the uprising. It was easier to locate someone and you could also pick someone up in no time, instead of dancing around their body. |

Needles are HARD to use. When a guy dies, you have to search around where he died to find the revive point. If he got ran over then the revive point is probably strung in the air, and you'll never find it... and probably get run over too. If they hit the corpsewith enough damage as it falls, they'll probably be doubletapped and dead, so Shotgun kills, TAR kills, Forge Gun kills, and grenade kills are almost always dead-dead, as are Flaylock and Mass Driver direct hits. Furthermore, people attempting to dodge via a bunnyhop will also have their revive point lodged in the air, so they'll be just as hard to res as LAV splatter victims.
In short, F^&* the GAWDDAMNED RAGDOLLS IN THE ARSE WITH A BLOODY NEEDLE! Not like it'll do anything... |

I might be wrong but it seems to me staying at kill screen gives longer bleed out than calling for help at respawn screen. Could you take notice of this and report it back in this thread?
I think seeking for fallen mercs is easier now. Thanx to the distance indicator. The same is when waiting for a rez. You can see now how far away a logi is from you.
If only CCP added CALL FOR HELP to the kill screen... |

Tweak the suit bonuses for the Logi's, particularly for caldari, reduce the CPU and PG of the suits significantly but give all Logi's an additional bonus that reduces the pg and CPU requirements of equipment fitted.
And the needle is seriously broken in uprising. |

the legend says that once upon a time, in new eden, a revive tool existed, and that clones could be revived, i know this sound really farfetch, i mean a guy i just killed with my TAR is standing up again?, IMPOSSIBRUU, but it doesnt matters anymore, since the knowledge of that revive toll was lost and only rumors remain, and probably will remain like that until just a myth remains... |

I have been several times and I really appreciate it.
I carry the nanite injector, although it only works ~40% of the time for me. Earlier today I was moving around a clone's body and finally managed to revive it-but I was 3m away! Anyway, I try to revive when it's safe to do so. |

If rezzing wasn't so damn tricky people might use it more.
I found it much easier to pull out the injector (manual usage) and then do a quick strafe through the body in a sort of X pattern while mashing the trigger to use it. I can almost always get the injector to go off that way, people only seem to get the revive ~50% of the time though.
So it comes down to you are running around a body with an injector out, like a chicken with his head cut off, getting shot at, all for a rather iffy chance the person actually gets the revive. Is it any wonder why nano injectors are going the way of the dodo? |
