So...It's gonna be on the PS4? I think it's fair to assume that the PS4 will be the end for DUST. |

Missing head glitch still in. Unable to die glitch still in. Not staying dead glitch still in. HP bug still in. UI is from 1980s I mean who in the hell uses pixelated layered art Lattice system did little to change how fights are handled. Maps still unloads from memory sometimes. Spawning is getting worse than before with range limitations its either get spawn camped or not spawn at all. Lag Cheaters. Pop-ups on the game that refuses to close during game play. The game crashes everytime I log out. Also sitting on 870 cert points not sure what to spend them on when I get to 1k I have no idea what is good to unlock on my side because I typically don't get shoot by it. WOLF MAN! TRIBES ASCEND IS WHERE IT"S AT!! Or WAR FRAME. Tell me you've tried war frame wolf. Someone tell me they tried WAR FRAME!
I tried war frame. It was good.
But are you people seriously telling me you'd rather play...This, than a finished product?! |

DUST isn't improving either. Clearly.

Im in 2 minds if i should download it but its still not optimised and has various OP things and bugs
True...But somehow I feel like DUST is the same way. I fight with randoms unendingly, and really it makes me just want to put a bullet in my foot. The "Metagame" is stale, and has nothing to do with any of the new players, and a lot of the players it has something to do with, want nothing to do with it. In the end this is a buggy, laggy, FoTM game that will probably have endless respecs all because it was made by a company who has no idea what they're doing on consoles, let alone FPS.
Not to mention, the Devs don't take player feedback at all. All the feedback we've done through chromosome went to garbage, and it's infuriating. I'm on the DCUO forums right now too, did you know THEIR Devs actually listen to the player feedback?! Seriously guys...We're below DCUO as far as quality goes.

Corpse Raider wrote:Tried Planetside 2. I spent 10 minutes trying to get to a fight, got killed in a millisecond to find that there were no spawn points nearby. Bought a plane (with the limited resources), spent 2 minutes flying to the location of the fight using horrible flight controls, got 1-shotted by a tank to find that there were still no spawn points nearby. Bought a quad bike, spent 4 minutes driving to a battle, when I was 200m away, the quad bike flipped over on a pebble and blew up instantly killing me. There were still no spawn points nearby.
Now, I was probably missing some sort of mechanics that might alleviate this a bit, but coupled with the horrendous grinding required to improve just 1 of the 4 (or is it 5?) classes even a little bit, I have to say that despite the graphics of Planetside 2 being far better, the graphic design of Dust is far better, the (broken) matchmaking is far better, the (unbalanced) gameplay is far better, the (hard to control) vehicles are far better.
I am, however, quite enjoying Hawken, that I picked up during yesterday's ddos attack...
-The grinding for PS2...At least...SP Cap and AFK Farmers. That's all I'll say on that.
-DUSTS graphics are better? You blind?
-At least PS2 has INTERESTING vehicles. You can make them better in PS2 and they aren't gimped as **** in PS2
-Matchmaking...PS2 is open world. Next. |

All races APCs are the same. All races Gunships are the same. All races Cargoplanes are the same. All races Dune Buggies are the same. There is no plans on making them not the same ever.
See, but even if that is the case...They all work. We don't have tanks people poured there hearts into getting one shotted by militia AV in that game now do we? Not the case in DUST. You also don't take a **** ton of damage from falling up either. (UP!) PS2's vehicles flip only when one is moving too quickly or you crash but in dust it's like:
"Every map is made of trampolines." - IGN. (Having given DUST a 5.8/10 Not a passing grade)
PS2 was good enough to NOT have to be graded on it's potential and instead was graded on how good a game it was, something DUST514 couldn't be graded on. And I'm not a hater here I played this game since january, gave it a lot of time and effort, yet in the end it obviously was never mean to be good. |

- Grinding is far more fun in Dust, and the possibility of AFKing alleviates even that for the dullards who want to spend their time in a game doing nothing. - I'll agree that the vehicles do look more interesting, but their availability in Dust is greater (when you have the skills) and the customisability of them is greater so that they fit your playstyle better. - Yeah, PS2 is open world. This makes the barrier to entry is even greater than in Dust. Long-term players own the battlefield in both games, but a coordinated squad at least stands a bit of a chance in Dust and has the opportunity to win the "ISK war", if not the battle. I'm not a Dust fanboy, I'm just calling these two games as I see them. PS2 is open world, but every small victory is quickly reversed so even though the war claims to be persistent, it's a very transient kind of persistency. Faction warfare in Dust is far more persistent (needs better ties to Eve to make this obvious though). Claiming your own turf in Dust is far more motivating than claiming a region in PS2 that will be reclaimed within minutes of you logging off.
It may be reclaimed, but at least logging on isn't like a job.
"Alright I need all our best players on from 6 to 7 PM to defend Districts X,Y,Z"
I already HAVE a job, there's no need for me to get another, in a video game, it's the least appealing thing I can think of, and in the end what do these planets matter to me? For the love of god, theses are 16 v 16 lobby matches! I don't feel like "I was there." I feel like "I was playing Halo" and it just happened to have higher stakes for someone. Who isn't me. I gain nothing, no bonuses, no extra ISK, in the end I'd rather have one of the more involved large scale warfare that PS2 offers than a 16 vs. 16 lolskirmish that constantly ends in a redline, in a game with boring maps, broken controls, and a not-so-fun implementation of an amazing idea. |

Well a guy with a last name like "Average" saying a game is good, doesn't really do wonders for peoples opinion about its quality |
