So we've had all kinds of conspiracies so far.
- BPOs not being refunded. - Manhunt event delayed. - ISK issues, making everyone rich... - ISK 'solution' issues, making people worse off than they should be.
And now this 'server outage'?
Either CCP's servers ****ing suck.
or they are up to something.. -_- |

or they are up to something.. -_- To say there is a conspiracy you need a theory. You can't just say... "Sky is blue! Grass is green! Water is wet, So is my bed! Arrrgh conspiracy!"
Oh God, here come the uneducated idiots of the internet. People who go around pretending that their understanding of conspiracy theories from YouTube videos makes them a complete expert.
I didn't need to Goddamn say "Conspiracy Theory", the conspiracy theory IS IN THE POST.
Did you get that? The theory is in the post. My theory was clearly implied that CCP are manipulating the outcome of these events for what ever reason.
Get out of here kid. |

or they are up to something.. -_- No, many major game companies have been DDoSed. Blizzard, Jagex, Perfect World International, to name a few.
Yeah, but put that in line with all of the other recent failures. Blizzard didn't have a DDoS 5 days after a major money eff-up. |

- BPOs not being refunded. <---There's a legit reason for this. See below
And now this 'server outage'?
Either CCP's servers ****ing suck.
or they are up to something.. -_- Back during closed beta, the price of AURUM BPOs were about 50-100 AUR per unit. With a merc pack of 43,000 AUR, me a lot of other players were able to buy (in bulk) each and every one of the BPOs at dirt cheap prices. Then came open beta and the price of the BPOs jumped to at least 1,000 AUR per unit. Originally CCP intended to refund us these BPOs, but upon finding out what players did in the above-mentioned paragraph, it turned out to be a very bad idea to refund the BPOs. Let's do the math. Assuming each BPO costed 100 AUR a piece before the open beta changes and 1,000 AUR a piece after and assuming the average player bought 100 of these BPOs: 10,000 AUR spent in purchasing BPOs before open beta. 100,000 AUR refunded after open beta. Net Gain of 90,000 AUR without purchasing any additional merc packs. Basically free AURUM. Keep in mind that there were also some players who stock piled much larger amounts of these per unique BPO. One player admitted that the refund would have given him an absurd amount of over 1-4 million free AUR.
So why didn't CCP register who had mass-purchased these BPOs and give proper refunds to the people who deserve it.
Why didn't CCP have a log of some kind for every Aurum purchase, so they can give accurate refunds?
That problem could EASILY have been solved, but they turn around saying "no refunds". That is where the problem lies, not in the cause of it to occur. |

Do we have nothing more to say? Or are we just eavesdropping between posts to try and make a clever-sounding statement for thumbs ups? Get out of here, I didn't want to see what childish and idiotic reply you could have thought of. If you're going to reply, at least take the effort to constructively destabilise my argument. Goddamned kid. |

Good question, based on my observations, I would say that it is to do with marketing and observing how an audience reacts towards a sudden price change, or sudden increase in money or a server failure.

If you're going to reply, at least take the effort to constructively destabilise my argument. Goddamned kid. You don't have an argument in the first place. All you provide is a short list of unrelated observations and a completely useless hypothesis that is largely based on a confusion of correlation and causation. You have yet to show why your hypothesis is even worth considering and thus very, very far away from demanding falsification of your baseless claims.
Two wrongs don't make a right, now get the hell out of my thread.

Lol, all you did was spout a few facts and didn't designate where thry are leading or how they are related. Seriously dude?
I did say how they were related, go and look again before posting so you can spare us your stupidity, thanks.

Garrett Blacknova wrote:"Up to something" isn't much of a "theory". The level of depth and confidence in your theory is right up there with "I think I might actually exist".
Nonetheless it is a theory, and unless it is clearly made apparent on the internet the degree of a theory to be valid (which is as absurd as saying an opinion is wrong), I will continue to generate them. |

It is not a theory. You are beeing handed all the knowledge you need to realize that you are wrong about pretty much everything you said in this thread, yet you refuse to even look at the most basic rules of logic and how to construct a proper argument and just keep repeating falsehoods.
How can my opinions and theories be wrong / false? -_-
The theory about The Big Bang probably has flaws, but no one says 'it is wrong'. |
