Speaking of Semi-Automatic SCR... it doesn't work as it obviously should work. At all. I know for sure from the forums and in-game friends that the majority of people agree with the fact SA Scramblers are messed up.
They are redicolously powerful but still totally unreliable and useless in any tactical situation. Right now it feels like a hyper-powered scoped pistol. What's the purpose of a laser dot scope on a CQC weapon? Yesterday I read a thread about Tac AR nerf (pointless here) where the OP speaks about the SA Scrambler as well. She's also my friend and after replying to her post I actually had the will to try this weapon once again. Well, it feels like going around with one of those Looney Toones' toy-guns which disintegrate people with one shot.
Right now it's like this: A or B A) You get a kill in a split second B) You are dead
How I think it should work: -You can get a very fast kill if you do it right -If your opponents is "good enough/armored enough" he still got a chance to "counter attack/run away very very fast" (good luck) -If you mess up your charged shot you still got a chance to survive against a competent opponent even if with a clear disadvantage (good luck to you, this time) -If you start the gunfight shooting fast and the first 5 shots are not enough, you actually have the chance to gradually slow down the rate of fire instead of stop shooting immediately and being owned while "waiting for the cooldown/switching to sidearm".
My idea of fix: -Increase Max Range (not optimal range...) by 100%. Yes, I mean double it. -Slightly decrease damage-per-hit -Slightly decrease overheating-per-shot OR slightly increase cooldown speed while firing (not after full overheat)

Wow, you really need to swallow your indelicate sarcasm.
Right. I'm a **** player because I think it's uwkward that you can OVERKILL people at close range with a scoped rifle but you can't shoot anyone from 30 meters away. Makes sense.
People like you is the reason why DUST community sucks so much. "You are **** player". "This is fine the way it is". "Welcome to New Eden. Adapt or die". People come here with an input and this is what you say. Not that I can't see the purpose of this gun, nope! I'm just a **** player!

I don't need to find a gun to use, thank you very much! I'm just considering this particular weapon for what it is and there's no need to spend 1.500.000 SP to specialize to see how a gun works. You can say you disagree without saying my request are ridicolous because my point of view has the same value of your point of view. |
