I'm inspired by all the "this sucks" vs "be constructive" threads today -- and I'm capped.
In this life you'll find it's a lot easier to destroy, criticize and tear down than it is to build, praise or create.
So, where do you stand?
Are you duty and honor bound to stand against the tide of negative haters? Are you a white knight that will stand up against the majority even if it isn't the easy road?
Or, are you a tough as nuts badass who is going to tell the blind lemmings how it really is whether they like it or not? Alternately, maybe you are just too cool to actually care what people are trying to create.
Of course, perhaps it's neither set of options -- feel free to lay down your version of reality.
Me, I'm on the side of those who have the ability to go against the flow, take risks, and actually try to create something out of nothing. That doesn't mean everything is rosy or that I won't argue, troll or generally have fun here, on the battlefield, or when not in a clone driven reality.
That's where I stand. That's where I always stand.
If you haven't ever thought about it -- then do. At one point I found that anger was a good way to generate energy that I could apply to my work and generate motivation. The funny thing was I noticed I was starting to find a lot of things to be angry about. That wasn't the road I decided to take...
I await your flaming, trolling and hate. Take your best shot. |

So now I just fantasize about how when I'm Emperor of the World there will be some changes made ... oh yes ....
If any career was going to make me jaded that would be one of them. Another would be social work in the family or child protection area. All you see is examples of the worst of humanity over and over again. Anyway, enough of these happy thoughts.
