How would splitting up make you play on US timers more than you do now?

Splitting up would make you have battles against the other EU corps instead of right now being in alliance with all of them and therefore are forced to fight US corps because there are no EU corps to fight.

As anyone who has played them a lot can attest to they are very good at getting the server. I don't know how they manage to pull it off. We've got a US server maybe 6-7 times in at least 50-60 battles with them. After the 1.1 patch server no longer decided the match but it's still a clear advantage.

We've got our top scientists on it trying to uncover the holy grail method of granting server preference.

Me, no matter how green the server status is, it's mostly unplayable. To all now. As for the timer debate. Stop using that as a valid point as most US timers i see are set at unplayable times for most EU user. Same ** for everyone there. Worse, i'd say a US timer is worse for a EU corp than the other way around. Even an early timer (say 4pm ET) is playable on the week end with some good will. On the other hand, the 2am ET timer set by so many us corp is a 4am fight for europe. Sorry but there's no debate on which is worse. Last but not least, the accusation of "passively farming" is something i dont accept. WTFR had around 10 fights a day since pc fights started. And not just defending, far from that. What exactly did the southern legion in the mean time ? Just an example, but it's easy to point your finger accusing some people when the same thing could be said about many other corps out there. Starting big was the plan, being a strong EU alliance to avoid feeling like US second hand was also part of it. And see how pissed you are about it, it worked. But If then we had just stayed behind with 1pm timers all over the place, yes you could have called us farming b.itches. So at least dont come and say we intended to not fight and just passively farm cause that is far from being the truth, many corps out there know that from the amount of battle we fought. The more i read that kind of things, the more i feel like setting all districts timers at f.ucked up hours. This way at least, you'll be right about it this at least once. As for fights themselves, when PC started performance were way better than what they are now. The more time passes, the worst it gets. Not gonna state any example, done it a few times already. As for US\EU fights then what ? We should just consider every game is gonna be given to the US ? What do we do then ? go home ? I lol at this statement. If a game wants to set people on a leveled playing field, it can. US\EU fight. go asian server or something. at least it will be a lagfest for everyone where half the hits arent registered for both teams.
