Just was run over tonight (I'm certain I'm not the only one). Hit at around half speed.
Kill screen said "10,000+ damage dealt" by the LAV. That's a bit absurd, no?

Lol... Oh I'm ok with getting hit. Look both ways before crossing the street etc...
Besides, headshots with my pistol are more satisfying when they net me a car.
I was just a little floored by the excessively high number that's all. It wasn't even at full speed. = ) |

The issue with LAV's isnt the damage they do, it's the damage they take. A freebie LAV should die to a single standard av nade. Instant death, risk with reward.
Reward = easy kills
Risk = Made of paper
Similar situation to what scouts worry about.
The non freebies can be a little tougher, this is fine, if people have to pay for the privilege the risk vs reward mechanics are in place and can be tuned in the future by adjusting cost. |

Certainly. I completely agree.
I'd say freebies should be removed, but I've got a BPO saga... and it's not like they're too expensive for us to call down anyway. = /
