It could be a -ámodule that would supply ammo to surrounding friendlies, while awarding the tanker with wp, thus making tankers higher in demand for corps/squads, while promoting more team work for the tanker for the extra wp. Different versions would resupply faster, supply over a larger area, or use less CPU and PG. Tanks have the same turrets as turret installations and have mobile CRU's just as there are CRU installations, so why not a supply depot? Only without the ability to switch suits. HAVs can have remote repair modules or shield transporters to help heal others. We're just missing the ammo lol.-á
P.S. Should use a low slot since the mobile CRU uses a high one, just to be fair, and should probably be put under engineering section.
Like if you like the idea! Lol |

I like the idea but there should they should only be able to be equipped to the advanced vehicles, militia and standard should not be able to fit this. |

+1 I was just talking to a corp mate about this the other day. It'd probably be a good use for LAVs and Derpships. |

+1.
I believe this might be a feature of the MAVs. Just complete speculation and opinion on my part but I could see the Medium Ground Vehicle serving the purpose of being a mobile Supply Depot.
But then again it is supposed to attack so it may be something crossed between an LAV and a Tank.
In any case, though, I would like to see a Mobile Supply Depot module for vehicles. We have a Mobile Clone Reanimation Unit for vehicles, so why not?
Besides, I get sick and tired of teammates and enemies alike blowing up my favorite installation. Nothing like wanting to change your suit and then *explosion* oh! too bad!
Again, +1. |

However, I'll have to disagree with the module type. Low-powered slots are reserved just for that, modules that require low power to operate. That being said, the theoretical processes involved with a supply depot is anything but "low-powered."
Since Mobile CRU's are substitutes for the orbital deployed CRU installations, then mobile supply depots should perform in the same fashion. Having both a spawnpoint and a supply point in a single vehicle is too much (Unless there are plans for a future release of a Non-Com, Logistic Vehicle w/o combat functionalities). That is why the Mobile SD should be the "alternative choice" to a Mobile CRU.
It'll be the mercenary's choice between having forward deployment capabilities or having the ability to change your fittings to adapt to the current situation. Also, it'll make teamwork and co-ordination much more rewarding (HAV/LAV Convoy anyone?) |
