Unless you're running Minmatar Assault like me, and have 4 shots to blow people up with
And coming from the guys who spammed tacs and said they were fine, these complaints are pretty sad. |

The flaylock may very well be just right. I'll tell you what, the TAC is much easier to use than the flaylock for me. I used the TAC like an improved HMG and enjoyed the scope for long range shots. The flaylock I didn't give enough time to get the hang of. |

flaylock is next? Yeah, that's the weird part. Minmatar ships are the all around best ships for PVP because they can armor and shield tank efficiently. In Dust, their weapons are falling under the nerf bat one by one. If they touch my SMG, I swear to god I'm going to cut someone. |

Backpedaling flaylock users are the bane of the shotgun scout's existence.
Im losing track of all the skipping scouts and bunny-hopping logis that 2-shot my ankles from 15m away as my shotgun pellets tickle their codpiece. The impatient child in me wants to scream OP, but the jaded adult in me knows it's well balanced. |

Ive been on both ends of the flaylock and its not bad, splash radius is right in that sweet spot for a sidearm, projectile travel speed is well balanced and so is the clip size |

Knives over shotguns eh? Not when you have an active scanner. There's nothing more satisfying than getting the jump on someone who thought they were getting the jump on you! Also shotguns work wonders for heavies :) |

Funny thing was, projectile weapons were the redheaded stepchild of EVE online for so long. Then in standard fashion, CCP said they were going to balance them with a moderate buff, then the forum erupted in whining, then they buffed projectile weapons ludicrously. (Those were fun days to be a forum warrior... )

it is a little, btw the top of the leader boards uses 2x core flaylock, seen him in match, it is a little OP but as long as the hammer isn't dropped, just a chizzle, it will be fine. |

I'm literally waiting for them to add in different ammo types, the combat rifle, and possibly a Minmatar variation of a 12-Guage. I'll make the TAR look like a Red Ryder if they give me that kind of power. |

I run an advance armor rep tank and a shot gunner one shotted me and the killed my proto heavy guy in 3 more. He was good. We also had a problem with a shotgun heavy, we had to change tactics a little to stop him. |

The flaylock is pretty well balanced right now. It's great at taking out armor quickly feom close range, and is pretty bad at everything else. The best use I've found is finishing off heavies and assaults when they are in armor, and taking out scouts that are otherwise extremely difficult to hit. At range the projectile speed makes it tough to score hits. |
