Someone getting something they didn't deserve does not mean you were punished.

You be tripping. CCP failed hard at math, and the majority lost more money then they "illicitly" gained. |

HTFU Everybody look how all the Imps are happy now. Haha just yesterday they were flooding their own threads crying and talking down on CCP and now today they support CCP to the fullest hahaha I love how this game can flip tables like that. Keep funding your favorite players CCP.
I am super happy. People who were about to quit the game over CCP's mistake (they didn't "exploit" in any fashion, they just let it sit) are no longer unable to play the game. N-F could eat the cost for their members, but could every small corp or random blue dot say the same? No this was a win for those who where unfairly harmed by CCP's failure at scripting, the casualties of a few unfairly benefiting is drops in the buckets by comparison. I will gladly err on the side of positive error when it comes to an entertainment medium. |

Right so then with that same logic I should get my 137 million ISK back.
I mean CCP F-ed up right?
So I should keep my 137 Million ISK and anyone who was negative should HTFU.
I don't care one wit about you 137M ISK or my missing 35M ISK. Would I rather we both get that back? Yes. Do I think that it is in any way bad people were pulled out of negative? Not one bit. |

HTFU Oh but it does. You see when I get killed by someone proto ( who wasn't proto b4 the mistake) I am being punished. Now if @there was an actual matchmaking system then I would tend to agree with you about it not being a punishment ( with reservations regarding the unfairness of it) But without a matchmaking system we are definitely being punished because these people wouldn't be running proto if not for the "free" isk Honestly anyone arguing against this point of view is either 1 Stupid 2 a troll 3 one of the isk abuser 4 all of the above
You are being punished for your lack of skill. I have no qualms about 1 on 1 fights with any suit in standard gear (no passives) and find it enjoyable to find ways to win. Honestly the protobears are the easy ones to bag since they tend to stupidly charge into the open. |

If i have 3 mill, gain another 3 mill, then lose 9 mill and then get set at 0, then I still lost 3 mill. Stop using 1 problem to justify another, nothing has been fixed. And the people who did lose mopre than they gained should file a petition.
Petition is an unacceptable fix. All of this was done with nary a whisper on the forums, and a totally missable popup (I never saw one for example, and I was in the "know" looking for one). People who don't know why this happened to them, probably would simply walk away from the game, and that is worse than your tears over not getting free ISK just because someone else did. |

I wasn't going to dignify another fail survey but since you asked your lack of a "Superior Intellect to my whining" was missing, removing the most appropriate answer. |

Then they should have visited the bugs section of the forums and reported missing ISK, being ignorant isn't a valid excuse, and never has been. If they want quit over a bug then that's fine. Noc Tempre wrote: I will gladly err on the side of positive error when it comes to an entertainment medium. So you're fine with glitches so long as they benefit you? That's called exploiting and is punishable. You've also rendered your opinion on the subject worthless.
CCP erred here. There was no exploiting and malicious intent should require proof not assumption. Especially when CCP failed so hard at math. If monopoly money makes you happy I implore you to petition away. I'm not even bothering since the voiceless players were rectified of dealing with the consequences of CCP's fail. |

Sloth9230 wrote: Nothing has been rectified. And your an idiot if you think it has. People who lost ISK unfairly still lost ISK, people who spent what they shouldn't have are now making a profit.
And yes anyone who spent enough ISK to put them in the red knew something was going on and failed to report it, that is exploiting the system.
If you are just going to ignore that a sizeable number, and in my admittedly insufficient sample size of around 100 the actual majority, of people affected did not spend this is in any fashion and yet were sent to negative anyway, then you truly are unworthy of treating as a true sapient. |
