When do we get to vote on new CPMs?
I've been reading some of the archived posts, and there's more than a few of them who have no business representing our interests.
Also, it would be nice to get a more varied group of them in there. Little to no vehicle representation, combined with (essentially) all Assault/Logi AR users makes me a sad cyclops.

I can think of more than a few people here who know enough about everything to represent the community better than many of those clowns... and there's certainly enough specialists around too. We need more diversity. There's simply no WAY anyone on the CPM is a dropship pilot, laser rifleman, scout (excepting Nova Knife) OR heavy.
I thought we were supposed to elect them anyway? |

Next year, same time we elect the CSM in EVE.
The whole point of CSM 0 was to set up a framework for CSM 1 and all future elections. CPM 0 has the same goal. |

How long do I have to wait to actually see one of them PLAYING the game. Or perhaps posting something relevant. Or perhaps...

What are the odds of even a single one of them being re-elected? |

It will come. And like real elections, after the cpm are elected I expect to see this same post about when THE NEXT ELECTION is gonna come. eh? lol |

I'm pretty sure none of CSM 0 were re-elected, actually...
Elections should be around the same time CPM 0 were appointed this year. CCP likes to announce the new CSM at Fanfest, so I assume they'd do the same for the CPM. |

I hope some of you people who viciously attack the CPM now are elected so then we can all viciously attack you later as well until you decide its better to remain invisible and then people call for your removal for not representing the player interest. |

I'll wait.
You won't be back. I've NEVER viciously attacked any member of the CPM. I haven't even not-so-viciously attacked them. I simply believe there are MANY members of the community with a more firm grasp on the fundamentals of the game, as well as some of the more extreme aspects, than the currently appointed group.
I wouldn't even want the job. I prefer to PLAY my games, not (help) design them. |

Never mentioned your name. However "better than many of those clowns... " seems somewhat hostile. Your post is relatively tame compared to alot of what I've been seeing on these boards. |

Or you can be like jenny and haverst mockery by tenfolds. Ask the people if they hate ALL of the CPMS, some of them get hated for reasons beyond them being in power.

Well, to be fair I wouldn't be making a post about when we get to elect new members if I wasn't at least somewhat hostile to them.
While I can appreciate the fact that CCP may just completely ignore them and do whatever anyway, I can't help but feel that with a more diverse group of good players on the team more would get done.
When you combine that with the fact that many of them simply troll people in threads they either don't understand or simply have no interest in understanding... well I'm unhappy with the group.
Search up some of their posts. You'll see what I mean. |
