1 Vehicle prioritization
weve all been in a situation where some idiot blueberry steals our vehicle while we were either outside or in a different seat. to fix this have the owner of the vehicle displace other passengers when they change seats. Also give squad members of the owner a secondary priority after the owner.
this would be great at reducing rage against this game/your teamates. it essentially prevents them from being idiots, or if they do, its your fault still
2. scrambler stuff.
WHAT: make the scrambler bonus 5% heat build up reduction make the assault scram fire 42 shots before overheat (before skills) make the regular scram fire 20 before skills
WHY: this makes the assault scram fire all 75 of its shots before overheat with lv five operation and lv5 ammar assault, making it best with its racial suit and making it actually overheat for people who dont invest in it. Which it should. 20 shots from reg scram means with the two 25% heat bonuses it can fire ~36 shots, like the TAR can. This means that it is a slightly higher powered TAR that can still be overheated and has a charhe function. This means that more skill is involved to sue it as it can still overheat and leave you with 10 shots left and less HP, or you could manage you fire well and get all 45 off, or stop just before overheat and essentially have a quick reload for just 10 more shots. More skill to be better = more rewarding gameplay (for being good)
3. SMG+AR skill changes
basically, we all know the AR and SMG dont have recoil/arent affected by it at all. so why does their operation skill even say it changes it?
I think the sharshooter skill should be removed and the operation skill should effect dispersion (hip fire) like in chromosome. This makes the two weapons more deadly as you gain skill levels and makes it more worth it to level up rather than only paying off at proficiency levels for people that cant fit Duvolles/six-kins.
4. Skins slots
Things like the anniversary edition templar suits make me wonder. "i have these cool skins on bpo standard suits, i love em! the thing is that i want to use an advanced suit instead of a rubish standard" the answer to this is to make the unique skins a bpo item that can be applied to any suit, or any suit in a certain class.
I.E. raven camo would be given as an item that can be applied to any caldari assault suit, SEVER to minnie logis, valor to gal scouts etc. Or it could just be a patter that is applied to the only parts of the suits that change, like the black sections in the logis/assaults etc. It would make these camos and other customisation features more usuable and worth getting. 10,000 aur per camo item anyone? i would pay that.
I hope you all like my suggestions I would also appreciate it if you could tell me if the ammar 'templar' suits in the anniversary edition of eve are advanced or standard. because the dev post on the human enduarance thing says its the same suits. But a BPO of an advanced suit would be kinda OP. But yet againt he advanced assault/logi are like 500isk more than a standard medium frame (yeah seriously, its awsome) so it actually only saves you the same amount of isk as a standard BPO does.
If a Dev is reading this...... please consider these changes. Or at least the no.1 which would make vehicle users much happier without balance issues resulting from it. Also let the anniversary stuff be advanced. Theres barely any of them going into circulation and adv gear isnt even that expensive. Put a skil req on it, i dont care, just make it useful! PLEASE! or do no.4 and let me put the templar camo on my advanced suits and proto scramblers! that would be awsome!

5. keep the movement penalties on armor, they should be there. Shield has enough penalty by being less effective despite its recharge.
However, a skill to reduce the penalty, heck even making it the skill that lets you use the the plates, would make armor far more viable and useful. Having it as a sort of 10% per level proficiency bonus after getting the complex plates with a 5x multiplier would even work too.
HOWEVER! the movement penalty should not affect your jump height. a 10% movement penalty (or whatever it is) can mean i cant jump over a railing i can without the plates, this is not a 10% speed penalty. Not being able to vault that railin means i have to run all the way around it, often while under heavy fire and about to die, the reason im running, which means the penalty to how fast i get away it WAY WAY bigger than intended.
so please could movements speed penalties not affect how high we jump |
