Blasters have tge shortest range of all weapons. Even for the TAC AR. Lasers and Rail Guns have longest range of all weapons. Amd the Scrambler Rifle is a laser weapon. |

ARs are moderately OP in general but the TAC was highly OP. I can wait to see which AR CCP makes highly OP next time. 
It's wise to keep skills in the AR for just this reason. |

honestly I'd of said nothing, but they intend to buff the AR at the same time as this nerf, which is stupid and going to result in the AR being the same god dam gun as the tac rifle is now >.>
not sure why CCP insists on buffing guns that people are using to great effect as is. |

if I understand correctly, they are hard capping the fire speed and reducing the clip size of the tac ar, maybe a third thing i'm forgetting.
meanwhile buffing the range on the Scrambler rifle.
and since the current damage on the SR outdoes most assault rifle if handled well, a range buff will just make it the new tac rifle. |

If TAR is nerfed that much, TAR user will scream respec.

It fires on release instead of squeeze of the trigger, and has a pretty nasty overheat if you fire it too rapidly for too long.
As well, they've done nothing to reduce the range or damage of the Tac rifle. All they're doing is making it harder to use unfair control methods to enhance it, and making it less capable at CQC so that the other rifles actually have a purpose.
You'll still be able to use your TAR to drop people at range with no problems. |

You cannot blame folks for seeing a weapon that is rather powerful and wanting to use it.
Calling them try hards is not appropriate in this case.
I am a vehicle operator, a dropship pilot. Not much of a FOTM player...
I see the TAC rifle problem as a lack of proper play-testing of their releases.
They do not play their game. They do not understand the problems.
It is CCP, not the player's fault here.
Would it be worse that these tools were available and people were too stupid to use them? |
