First and foremost, I'd like to point out that I am not upset over not being selected, my chances were slim and I didn't really have any hopes of becoming one. With that out of the way I will continue.
1. The grammar in that post is that of a 6th grader, as a professional company YOU MUST go over EVERYTHING you write and make sure it is at least close to being proper grammar. I could honestly barely even read some of that. If English isn't your first language, have someone that speaks it fluently go through your writing and fix the grammar problems. No one will ever take CCP seriously if posts like that are made by official members of the team.
2. DO NOT CHANGE THE EVENT ONCE YOU HAVE ALREADY PUBLISHED IT TO THE COMMUNITY. 300 Templar's from our community were to be chosen, but now only 200. and the other 100 goes to the playstation community. IF YOU DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS, you make it so there are 400 Templar's, you don't take away from your loyal fanbase to give to those who have never played, AND PROBABLY WILL NOT PLAY THROUGH THE WHOLE EVENT. Because let's face it, this game has major gun power issues that make me barely even want to play.
3. What the actual **** CCP? I thought you were a professional company? Eve has been around for how long and you pull stunts like these? Okay I am a little upset that I wasn't picked for a Templar, because my chances were reduced by a lot because you guys decided it was a good idea to take away from your loyal fanbase.
4. I understand the attempt at bringing in new players. Really, I do. But in doing so, you took away from players that actually enjoy the game. And gave to players that more likely than not, want nothing to do with this game, as if they did, they would be playing already, because it is free on the PSN.
5. This was a really bad business move, and is making me think about not playing even more than the fact that you limit how much progression I can make on my character. I have less than 1million SP and you guys think it is a good idea for me to go up against players that have up to 10million SP, AND LIMIT ME ON HOW FAST I CAN ACTUALLY COMPETE WITH THESE GUYS IN PUBLIC ROOMS? Really CCP. Dust is going to fail if you do not do something about this. I understand it is Beta, but if the beta testers dislike the game, why would they even come back once it's officially released? I first downloaded this in the closed beta, and it was so bad I deleted it. It has improved, but nowhere near enough. I am considering deleting the game again if things aren't changed soon.
Loyal CCP members you can rage at me all you want, but the fact remains that you know at LEAST HALF OF THIS is true in your heart. |

Isn't DUST by CCP Shanghai, who kind of have very little/nothing to do with the real meat of EVE? Also your post reeks of whining, if you are going to complain about the company not being professional you should at least try to act professional yourself.
SP isn't a non-issue but it's not as end-all be-all as people treat it as, either. Don't worry too much about having lower SP, I'm 1.5million behind where I SHOULD be because of a mistake CCP made and won't correct for me. Sometimes I don't understand why they do things like that but c'est la vie. Give Shanghai some time, hopefully they'll come around. |
