Before i get to the main topic i want to say a bit about "the topic of the day" so i myself spent only the ISK i knew i had and its rather sad to see all the topics talking about the negative ISK issue if they leave those in negative in negative (likely) adding a malitia mode may work for most people so you can only use malitia suits modules weapons ETC so they don't get proto stomped every game,
Moving on to the MAIN topic, i believe the RDV's (Rapid deployment vehicles) need some work to the AI, first problem i have is as a driver/pilot of the caldari EHAV HAV LLAV LDS and ADS, it is incredibly frustrating to have my vehicle that i payed SP and ISK for delayed or not called in at all because of the free LAV spam, i believe a nice fix for this would be ( 2 people call in free LAV's i call in my gunnlogi 3 seconds later but my gunnlogi gets there first because it takes priority over the 100% free LAV ) i don't want to sound like a snob here but its annoying waiting 1 - 2 minutes for my vehicle or not being able to call it down at all,
the next problem i have is of course them crashing into my dropship this could simply be solved by programming them to avoid dropships because i doubt any pilot in his right mind would willingly crash into another aerial vehicle,
my last problem with them (and the most infuriating) is when i call in my ADS sometimes the RDV will fly in a circle for 5 minutes hitting my 800.000 ISK dropship against a rock every time it makes a complete circle then droping it upside down,[:ugh |

I have been thinking of switching from the shields and the python over to the incubus and armor.
Is the speed difference still as noticeable with the ADS?
i use the python mainly because its a bit faster and resists swarms better its is a little hard to fly because of its speed but i find it helps when you want to go slow or stop if you pull back hark on the joystick then push forward then pull back lightly the downside is you're weaker to rail turrets and forge guns but you can hover over the turrets and i don't see many forge gunners |

Incubus is better, higher ehp, feels more precise in how it controls (hard to explain, it's just how it feels to me), and for the speed, it sits somewhere between the eryx and the python, leaning to the python side. I fly both, I've been flying pythons since uprising hit and I specced into the incubus today, it's such a joy to fly. Went down to 17 armour at one point and my repper pulled me back, that said there's something scary about armour tanking, it's the lack of a safety net that shield tanking has. Oh and my incubus was flying around with a 19% speed reduction due to armour plates. yeah i agree that the total ehp is higher but i don't like the movement penalty both are great vehicles but overall everyone has they're own preferences lets agree to disagree |

if im not mistaken the base movement for a dropship is 2500 that -19% is 2025 not sure how noticeable this really is but the numbers scare me lol also the main reason behind me going with caldari is i read on the forums somewhere that explosive resistance for armor was like 79% i think and somewhere around 150 for shields im not trying to bicker here just trying to provide some ones and zeros lol |

however i don't know the exact names of all the modules
high slots x2 azeotropic light shield extenders x1 light clarity ward shield booster x1 supplemental shield amplifier (think that's what its called)
low slots x1 local power diagnostics system x1 adv small missile damage mod
turrets x3 adv cycled missile turrets |

to all the pilots that have posted on this forum let me say you are all awesome dropship piloting is a largely underrated and unrewarding task and you don't see enough dropships in the sky and when i do i feel kind of bad shooting down a fellow pilot |

But if they gave me a good dogfight, I will happily die to them, or send their flaming remains falling to the ground,

i had an epic dog fight once... was like 10 minutes long and before my respec awhile ago i had the grimesnes he had the python i had a corp mate in my turret nearly took him down twice but you just cant compete with that speed he hit the redline fast both times i ended up getting shot down by a proto swarm
also in case some of you didn't know here's a warning RDV's are still there for a little after they cloak and null cannons missiles have a rather big hitbox my poor python |

i don't care how to spell the stupid word as if i did i would have corrected it by now and it got my point across either way,
negativity aside it sounds like i should try out the accelerated missiles or the fragmented missiles because the cycled missiles on the front aren't working well for infantry, |
