if they realized they had hundreds of thousands of ISK more than before, and thought "OMG, CCP DERPED! I think I'll spend this ALL AT ONCE in case they realize and try to fix it. That way they can't get the money back, HE HE HE"

There's no way you spend that much ISK in one single day unless you're basically trying to launder the money. These people all thought they were pulling a fast one on CCP and deserve their new found debt (Or from another perspective they are allowed to enjoy a massive Zero-interest loan).

There should be punitive actions for trying to take advantage of bugs like this. They knew what they were doing.

and yes IRLz if that happened with your bank account you don't get to keep it, you go to jail if you spend it. Before yesterday nobody was spending chunks of hundreds of thousands of ISK at a time. Quit crying that your attempt at exploit ended in a quasi-fail
