It has happened to me, well not 150k but $100 randomly appeared in my account one day. I called the bank to see what was up, they took the money back. Apparently it was some guy who was trying to find out what bank accounts he could funnel stolen money into.
It is actually a very common tactic by cyber criminals. They deposit money into accounts, if it gets spent then no good, if its reported then also no good, if its left alone for a good month or so? Perfect! |

I'd donate it to my work so they can spend it on new PCs and then cry on public noticeboards when the bank gives me an overdraft that'll take years to pay off.
But because I have a brain I'd give them a week or so to realise their mistake and then clear some debts, buy a HGV, convert a shipping container to live in n take it round the world working when I want or need to :-) ... I have no shackles here ! |
