What some may not have realized yet.
If you went negative and you haven't bought every skill book.
You won't be able to upgrade your skills until your debt is paid.
I really feel for those of you who are negative and those that went 100 mil or more will probably end up quitting cause you are not going to make that back anytime soon.
So make sure you put a petition to ccp. To liquidate your assets.
You may think its funny and no problem now but after the haha you will be very frustrated.
We don't need to loose more players over this. So secretly contact ccp and get your self sorted. |

This is the only legitimate problem with what happened IMO. Luckily I bought all the skill books for the skills I wanted to go into the day of the respec. Makes it easier to see my plan for the future. |

Some people have just had enough. Why should we have to start a petition or file a ticket every two weeks? I've never had to do any of this on another title.
Its good advice, man. Perhaps CCP will warn us about game breakers in the future.
"we will be giving you way too much ISK back and barely inform a fraction of you of this. Also dont spend it because were taking it back two days later."
"We will severely limit your ability to aim in the future.this is just a heads up incase you actually wanted to play or spend money on our product"
"we will be catering to the COD fanboys in our new build, i hope you enjoyed a diverse game. thank you for purchasing all that AUR, it will help us to keep up with their constant whining" |

If you tried to take advantage of game, your mistake. I would like to have bought 100 million in suits and equipment. So why give those who did and went negative isk to buy even more proto suits. |

Well I'm sure you will be all right you know what's up but most of these other players probably did not so let's encourage them to get a petition in. So we won't loose a lot of people for no reason. |

If CCP wanted to they could refund all of their transactions that actually came out of their pocket so they have ISK again.

I noticed my ISK amounts were above what I considered, mine, so I made sure all my spending was kept in the same method as it was pre-respec. Amazingly I still have ISK, looks like the removed about 16mil that was mine, but oh well.
Bout time we had a way to sell/gift/donate our assests; to other players, the system and corp. I have a nice collection of officer weaps that collect dust. |

I love when CCP makes an obvious mistake. People buy in to it, and then when CCP rectifies the issue they come to the forums and scream about it.
For example, when Uprising dropped, vehicle shield extenders required dropsuit skills to operate. I saw that, thought, "That doesn't seem right," and waited for CCP to fix them. They fixed them, and everybody came to the forums and bitched because their fits didn't work. I went home, spent my SP now that the issue had been fixed, and fed off of everybody's sweet tears.
Once again, CCP made an obvious mistake, and a bunch of idiots jumped on it. If $10,000 randomly appeared in your bank account, would you go spend it all and then whine when the bank fixed their mistake? No, so why did you assume CCP worked any differently? |

For those that went negative its not free isk. It is liquidating all their purchases or help them to get their donations back from their corp. No free isk |

IF CCP puts them back down to 0 they should also clear their inventory for attempting to cheat. Let's be honest not everybody was wronged by CCP. Or what do you do when you put all the ISK in a secret corp account or donated it and than there is no punishment for it? They are negative for a reason. I just don't see CCP going off and trying to purposely steal ISK on top of the way the game already is. It just would make better sense to pull the plug on the game all together.
If they were trying to kill their own game that is. |

Regardless of whether mercs spent isk irresponsibly, the root cause of the issue still lies with CCP. I feel that CCP should have left the ISK given alone but, CCP felt otherwise so those of you who aren't in the negative but a little low now should just grind to get back to baller status. To those of you who are negative, I hope that your corp had contingency plans in place to help support its members monetarily during times like these. |

That action proves that you know there is something wrong with withdrawing or using it.

So let me get this straight. People that requested a respec were given what was VERY obviously too much isk for the cost of the skills they bought, and rather than say "huh, this doesn't look right" they went and tried to exploit it for everything they could? Sounds like they got their just deserts.
Sorry Halo kids, but no, exploiting bugs is NOT "intended gameplay mechanics." When there is a bug in the game this is not "an easter egg for the good players to find." As sarcastic as this paragraph is, these are actual arguments I've heard from wallhackers, super-bouncers, and sword-teleporters in Halo, and they believe every word they're saying.
If these people get screwed and quit I really don't see the problem; the game and the community is better off without them. I have no more pity for them than I do the RMTers that get caught in EVE (first offense penalty is normally to simply remove all of the illicit isk; this usually results in a few billion negative balance; soooo much more effective than temp bans, because a temp ban just means you rest a couple days, but working off the punishment for your crime actually hurts and acts as a real deterrent.) |

However you forum users who apparently cant read also need to realize that there are quite a few ppl who lost tons of additional isk beyond what CCP accidentally gave then. IE you got 150 mill extra isk...you dont spend it and then CCP comes back and pulled out enough isk to make you -200 mill isk. This is STILL not the fault of the gamers its CCPs issue that they failed at horribly. |

Me too. CCP Wouldn't come back and take more than they gave. That makes no sense at all. |
