After the 50 mark for games played without having any new stuff, you will desperately seek to try out the lasers, scrambler rifle and others. It is natural, you will get sick of grinding for a pointless reason, heck you will probably even lose most of the dropsuits by the time you get back up. And that will take absolutely ages, see you in 6 months when you're back on the level.

It's all good though because I'm only -28 mil and have 2000 fittings to work with. I normally only die 3 times or less, so those 2000 fits should last about 700 games. 700 games at 200k ISK per game is 140 mil ISK, not including crazy ISK income from 2-3 PC battles per day. Moral of the story - I ain't even mad.

I don't know about you, but I don't spend millions of ISk on gear I'm not going to use. I've played as a heavy since day one. I have 1,000 FG fits and another 1,000 HMG fits, plus extra gear from before the respec.

Either way, I'd say that your actions in this situation are nothing to be proud of. If you're fully specced into one role, why not? It's like a loan from CCP. I like that it'll be a couple months before I even consider looking at the marketplace.
