Yeah thats right,if you are part of smaller corp or not in a corp and are tired to get stompped on the battleground by those bigger corps. My suggestion is this we go on strike in every battle when our or enemy team has bigger corps members on them, because why we should die in matches when they are stomping, let them deal with the situation and lose valuable gears and dropsuits and let them fight each other. Before i was against afk and all that s--t,but now im calling STRIKE against stomping |

You get passive SP. Why bother showing up at all then? You're just screwing over the rest of your team. |

Think of it as a learning experience. What can I do to change the tide of battle if frontal assaults aren't working? Think outside the norm. Also run cheep fits and destroy some proto suits, you may die a lot but it's still going to cost them more isk. |

Sorry, but my corp is actually striving to match or become better than the big guys. Whenever we see a major corp on the other team, we know what to expect and prepare for a tough battle. Heck, we even managed to pub stomp a squad of Hellstorm in ambush once. It was hilarious.
Get better at the game and save your ISK. The most I have is an advanced suit, weapon, and repair tool. I can still go toe to toe with protos using tacs. |

Cry moar, hon. My corp is literally three people. That doesn't stop us from performing quite well in each match, regardless of if we're in a squad or not. Your skill on the battlefield combined with your ability to fulfill whatever role your side of the battle needs is what makes a good Dust player. Just because a merc is in a notable corp in no way ensures that they are a good soldier, nor does their gear guarantee that they will automatically dominate in a match. Most of my suits are a mixture of militia gear, BPOs, and some tier one weaponry, and yet anyone who's fought with me will confirm that my name is usually near the top of the leaderboard at the end of each match.
TL;DR: Being part of a big corp or having proto gear doesn't automatically make one a rolling death machine. Tactical thinking and the ability to react to whatever the battlefield throws as you does. |

As for the little guys, I have plenty of fun solo. I've found it quite fun to snipe the corp players who run around with cookie-cutter strats.
Besides, isn't a strike just sitting collecting passive SP anyway? How does that differ from Saturday through Tuesday for most players, when "bonus" SP has been exhausted?
CCP's entire model in Eve and Dust is to encourage people to log out of the game and play infrequently. A "strike" would have no effect, particularly since this is not a subscription game. It would be like people vowing not to buy gas on Wednesdays to try to prove a point. You're still driving the car, and you'll still buy gas (or Aurum), it just changes the day. |

Small corps? Get stomped? AFK?
thats not fun...
What do you mean bigger corps? I have rarely seen more than 12 players on a public match at the same side from the same corporation.
If you mean that some of the named corporations players that are playing in a 6 man squad and lead by a character that knows tactics and can direct squad to do what is needed are you hurt because of that? Well what can you do if your playing skill does not match them? Well this is what I do..
I myself play adv caldari logi with a adv tac ar so I dont even dream of going head on against skilled player using duvolle tactical. I play Logistic logi with nanohives, and proto needle and try to keep myself safe most of the time.
and about last night...
I played with a RFB corporation squad. Ambush oms and we played about 4 or 6 games against a named corp in a row and lost them all. But the point is if you dont lose you cant get better and if you win all the time it gets boring. Stats for those games for myself was about 750 to 1500 wp and kd 1.0-2.0. and How did I keep it positive... Caldari logi yep that will give me atleast 25% more survivability but for other things. Well we watched and learned their game style and changed tactics.
Few Tactics we used..
1. Found out who was leading them and supressing her with all we got. ( Time for blueberries to regqroup and re-attack). 2. Decoy Lav(free) force them to go change kits at supply depot (destroy SD after suit changes). 3. Kill Maim and destroy Swarm carrying MLT players who had proto gear... 4. Lure them to the open ground to get shot to pieces by turrets and forge gunners. 5. Prime M1 nades and running to the middle of proto squad 6. Using microphones to pinpoint targets 7. Resupplying team mates 8. Reviving team mates 9. Shielding and guarding own droplink for safe reinforcements 10. Guarding red droplink to see poor souls spawning 11. Have fun destroying 170k suits while losing a tight battle 12. Played as a squad in a future battlefield.
Last game we lost was about 0-12 on clones so we did do some pretty decent damage.
Overall what about it that we lost.. Only thing I lost was W/L ratio and I can take if we go and practice as a squad and we can push it to the limit. Our squad didint have proto gear and medium price for our suits where between 40-90k isk
Well someone can tell me how much Proto caldari logi with tactical duvolle and complex slots cost?

Ok when i started to write this text,i was frustrated because all my morning games was lost to bigger corps proto tac ar stomping(tac ar changes next week anyway) Anyway i think im not a bad player (allmost every match im 1-5 position) But im just thinking that something have to do those stompers, and i feel the best way to hit them where is really hurts, and that place is their wallet. And if they starts to lose those expensive gears and dropsuits bcause they have to go against people with equal gears, and not those who has just come out of academy.maybe that will get them to stop using their expensive gears from the pub matches. |

Seems like almost every player who gripes like this uses this example, and all of them seem to be in the top 5......wow that's a lot of top 5ers around here....
In any case I say join an Alliance, small corps can do decently well together.....but they do better either in bigger numbers (aka the bigger corps) or in allainces... |

CCP could stop the PUB storming very quickly and easy... The fact that they haven't done that yet, shows you that they trying to please a very small percentage of the player base, the rest of us are just pawns in their little Metagaming BS.
A strike will make no difference. My advice.. Use the LAV, or snipe them from behind the red-line. |

EVE has the equivalent of matchmaking through security levels, any non-******** game designer recognises the need for pathways of skill/power development.
The reason they don't have proper matchmaking isn't an evil scheme, its just either 1) plain old fashion incompetence (not super likely) or 2) lack of resources/intelligent project direction (more likely). |

I have zero points into infantry. Use a mlt shotgun. Idc how tanked a suit is. A couple shots from one of those and most guys are down. Try it.
Caldari mlt suit 2 shield extenders shotgun armor repper

@OP You know you are part of a fairly good sized Alliance, right? There are always people to squad up with if you are willing to join. Join the channel, drop an LFS and watch as those BiG Corps get taken down not realizing they are playing against an organized squad.
Seriously, message me if you do not have the channel information. |

Well what is really anoying is that most of the "fresh" started guys cares to much about K/D.
Get your self militia drop suits, run, gun and learn instead of hiding, sniping or AFK on the MCC!
Im new to this game too but it P"#-ñ%#%# me off that i try to be part of the frontline, takeing objectives, supporting others that are better suited than i am, but still there is chickens like you that are wasting server room for people that want to level up by war experience!
I have two chars im running in. This one here almost 2mil SP and assault one, K/D is just around 1.4 right now. So what?
I get killed by outer.heaven, sver, and all the other better suited ones. So what?
It will take time, but once im suited up on a level that is almost equal, it will be payback time!
Im 29, playing online shooters almost more than 12 years and i know im good and always was over K/D 2.5.
But this game here makes the difference, its about RPG parts. Leveling up to become better. No CoD bullshit.
And i do like it!
I like to test enemy proto heavys out, i like to see how i progress and yes i do sniper rounds as well. But i would never just hide out like a poor chicken. Thats waste of my private time and destroys fun for others too!
I can see the point of that people are getting angry, but then leave and make room for others. I can see the point of calling match making ****, but start act as a team and get 6 man in instead of a squad of 2 with snipers. Make use of orbitals.
But please stop hiding and block server room for others.

My corp has only 3 Mercs aswell hasnt stopped us from dead stopping stacked teams with even the 2 of us Lone Wolfing around. The only matches i find worth doing is to be on the loosing side, then win by counterstomping an entire team.
Most boring matches are those where we have Tanks or additonal team on our side and ive even left those boring battles.
I am pretty Sure those that play in teams all the time know us.

Simple solution, up your game boy, there are matches I get completely humped and there are matches I'm moving down proto's 25/3, it just depends how you start off, gotta get in the zone.
Either that or reverse stomp them using hilarious tactics, EG, one time I joined ambush with my squad, and we were having a laugh and decided to each call down an individual tank. The last tank hit the ground, we started to roll out, and I swear to god, the entire team left and we won by default, it was magnificent. |
