The primary weapon is your main tool for killing other people, and the more people that you kill, the more ISK and SP you can earn after the match. Therefore, your first priority should be to get yourself a good weapon. Just choose the type of weapon you want and unlock the first level of that weaponGÇÖs operation skill. The basic version of that weapon is now available for purchase at the marketplace. You can go ahead and buy some to use, or you can continue using the starter suits to save up your ISK. Note that sidearms and grenades are not included in this step. They will be addressed in Step Three.

Really cannot emphasis more how stupid people are for not going after this first.
Should also point out how idiotic people are for claiming Logi suits are being used for asualt.
Of course you are going to see logis acting like assault class...they did the smart thing and leveled up in their weapon first and are only now just moving into the logi skills....if you do it the other way around you are asking to get your face stomped in for months of grinding. |

If you put it onto primary weapon you at least have a chance of out playing them.

All the time...then i put Sp into my weapon and started killing them before they could kill me.
One can always use cover, way cheaper then spending it on armor and shields, but the only way to cause more damage is by putting more SP into one's weapon.
