I run a Min Logi and guess what, I speed tank a shotgun build most times in Pubs. They're for fun. In PC I run a pure Logi build. If you pull my light weapon you'll find almost no logistics players will be on the field.

GTFO with "Intended roles" This game promotes choosing and building whatever you want,not what people think you should.
I too play logi and yep! in pubs sometimes I heal,sometimes I heal and assault,sometimes I just play straight logisault.And it is noooo ones business wth I do or don't do with MY suits/fits.

In my experience, they primarily have Shield Transporters with maybe a Civilian Gatling Autocannon so they can ***** on killmails. I was drawing a correlation between two games set in the same game Universe that also have similar philosophies though different platforms. Logi =/= Assault Logi == Logi Assault == Assault

Silly dusty scimitar is a logistics ship it gets bonus to remote reps and another ewar type buff so fitting damage mods and really big guns would be dumb see the parallel? As for me not backing up my argument google the definition of logistics and assault. Obviously you don't know the definition of the two.
Sorry but I do not let google decide what I do or how I play my games.In my google experience I would be a very messed up individual by now if I did.Look at any other MMO and google a class/roll.I can almost promise you people have found new and creative ways to use them effectively.
And ya I am just a lowly dusty lol.I would like to try eve and play both but the laptop doesn't run it well enough for me.

Also decent pg/cpu reduction and a boost let's say -25% even to equipment usage just on every logi would be agreeable. I don't need mean to say they shouldn't partici.pate in combat but 17/0 with only WP from kills is a little wrong and not the intent of the suit
All good man and ditto to you on the response.I do know the difference though lol,I just don't see the problem with thinking outside the box (or in this case:definitions)
Your idea could work if it was done right.If not it seems like it would just even itself out and be about the same.
As long as I can carry equipment and a light weapon I could give a crap about what gets nerfed.The module slots are awesome but take some away if it comes to it. |
