Have you ever got scammed or extorted in Eve Online before? No? Welcome to New Eden. Expect to see that happen in the near future for DUST. |

I'm out.
Then I suggest you leave now because that is exactly what will happen. I can already see it coming from light years away. |

I wont leave because you saying that it will happen...I still have hope, that CCP will eventually see the light... If not, i will shake my head in disappointment, and leave.
You're hoping that a company that allowed Jita to burn and innocent miners get ganked in Eve will see the light? You're hoping for too much. |

"Jita to burn and innocent miners get ganked in Eve" Wat !! .... sorry I don't speak EvE ...Can you translate that to Dust 514 language ?
Google:
Burn Jita Hulkageddon
Jita is the player-created economic hub of New Eden. A group of Eve players managed to wreak havoc here with the economy of Eve during 2012.
Ganked is the act of being attacked in high security space unprovoked. Hulkageddon turned it into an annual pass time. Like watching wrestling only it's real this tine.

Look at it this way. There is a reason why we say "adapt or die".
CCP allows players in Eve to do things that would otherwise be considered as bannable offenses in other games. |

I hope I made clear enough for you. If not, I suggest you leave because that is exactly what will happen.
Players will be scammed, betrayed, ransomed, robbed, and even extorted in the near future simply because DUST is operating in the same server as Eve Online right now. |

Panther,
The harsh universe will not kill DUST. Doomsayers said that Eve will die just because of the harsh universe alone. That was ten years ago. Eve is now a flourishing mmo with an economy that rivals all mmo games.
There are a large number of Eve players in DUST already. The first beta testers for DUST were actually Eve players. I was there and I'm an Eve player since 2008. You really need to stay informed about this stuff. The stuff that I am describing is something even non-Eve players already know. How could you not know this already?
By the way, I don't have to speak on behalf of CCP. Their history speaks for itself. They have allowed stuff like this to happen for ten years already. Think about that. |

How dare you call miners innocent. They mass murder 'roids on a daily bases, justifying their actions by sayind " if she didnt want to be mined, she shouldn't have been in that belt wearing that mineral deposit". Shame on you for your callous statements that only prove that mineral rights has a long way to go in this world. You sir are bigot, a sexist and a claim jumper and I for one hope you die alone and never know the happiness of a mother lode.

And i really hope that you not speaking for CCP...Because that will kill Dust 514 very quickly..You see... I can't see 25,000 players in Dust 514 right now ... think about that for a bit. It won't kill Dust, it will simply attract the right kind of players to it. People already PAY to be betrayed, ripped off, and robbed on Eve. Seriously, you see some of the most high profile scams on influential gaming news sites and even on magazine publications from time to time. These arent even just make believe space credits either, you can do the math and convert ISK to real money. The biggest scams that have made Eve into what it is today has cost the victims of these acts, thousands of dollars. Yet, they don't care and continue paying to play it. Dust will be for the people who want to enter that world but don't want to pay the subscription fee. If that's too much for a carebear like you, then please have your stuff shipped to my quarters.
Apparently it is too much for him. He's only fresh meat after all. At least he's lucky that we have the courtesy to warn him of what's to come. I remember the first time I got ganked in high sec. I still survived but it taught me something valuable: adapt or die. |
