Alright, so I join an Ambush match. I only have like 3.5 Mil SP, but I have decent Logi gear and I do well with the class. Our team is filled with lots of newberries using militia gear. That's okay. They likely just got out of the Academy and they're probably nervous as hell.
The game progresses, and we're constantly neck and neck. I'm running around, pulling teammates up, repping them, and then I'm immediately off to go rev another. It racked me up tons of WP, and it managed to keep our team in the fight. They were good with the Assault Rifle, and our entire team literally managed to stick together.
But then towards the end, the clones are at like 6/6 or something. I call down a Dropship, we hover off of the ground and start shooting a bit, making the enemies clones almost reach 0. We're about to take off and win, when I see a heavy struggling on the ground. I quickly lower myself to accommodate him, and then...
An LAV comes driving out of nowhere, smashes into my Dropship, instantly blowing it up and killing everyone inside, and yet the LAV survived, driving right on its way. We lose the match, despite our teamwork being much better than the enemies. We were facing a team lined with TACs and LAVs, and we still managed to make it to the end. But this ONE insufferable little jackass couldn't help but spec completely into LAVs for the sole purpose of running things over. The worst part is that he managed to SURVIVE. A tiny little jeep collided with a Dropship, made it explode, and yet kept on driving.
Just wanted to share that little story with everyone. I ended up with 1.7k WP, 800 more than the top scorer on the opposite team. Still, it was a fun match, but you have no idea how infuriating it was to spend so much time in that match, helping new players, getting them back on their feet, sticking together with them... To have it all ruined because somebody with Proto used a stupid tactic and survived for no other reason than the amount of SP he had. |

EDIT: I earned my LLV. You just mad because you don't have one. Stop trying to break ****; LAV's and LLV's are balanced. Grab a swarm scrub.
You're the scrub if your only method of securing kills is driving around in an LAV and running things over |
