So I got the respec and pour all my SP into the Sentinel dropsuit. I need advice on how to fit it appropriately. Currently it has:
-Proto Sentinel -Proto HMG -Specialist Flaylock -Flux nades -4 complex armor plates -Militia shield recharger
I have 400k SP left that I can spend on either armor reps or LLAV. My plan was to have LLAV with the heavy for killing players that dodge the LAV and have a driver that can tank enough damage. But I got full heavy first. With 4 plates my speed is around 2.75m/s. It's slow as hell, but it has 1012 HP on armor. Sometimes I feel it needs a rep, other times I don't need it because I stick close to logibros. Any advice you can give it is appreciated. |

I just posted in another thread about using the LAV as a "drive by" tool with a HMG. Obviously not at proto stuff like you. But man is it fun to rush up on people hit someone and hop out to hose down the rest. There's a lot of maps where this is the BEST way to assault an obj. If you have a logi to hop out with you and set up uplinks and or keep you healed / fed. You're hell on wheels with all that gear you have.
I bet that is a LOT of non-fun for the other team...

^Yeah that was the basic idea, but I opt for full heavy first for more versatility. |

Yes thanks this seems to be the rule. But then a logi reps me and sticks with me and my rep is now useless...also I'll be playing PC and my squad will most likely have a logibro.

I'm a logibro and have a buddy that's heavy. The fatties are slow but they still get around I highly recommend sticking with 4 complex armor plates and finding yourself a dedicated logibro, but if you don't have one then don't "hope" there is one and get the complex armor repairer.
Honestly I think we need to get a chat channel going for Heavies and Logis to hook up. We need you just as much as you need us (well, at least logi's that are spec'd fully into support rather than combat). |

Do you really need that militia shield recharger? I would probably run a complex dmg mod, but you got only 1 slot, which isn't fun. I would probably not have got into the proto sentinel, but proto basic, but that is my choice.
2 high, 3 low . 2 dmg mods, and 3 plates 110hp less, 10% more speed and close to 20% more damage output. 2 Millions less SP, which can be spent elsewhere, like in some good forge guns, so you can shoot tanks when they get called in.

I am a dedicated Logibro in need of a Heavy. Sounds like a song.... :) (For real though, I am...) |

I really don't need it. It's there for putting something there. I was thinking a precision enhancer for detecting those assault suits. Damage mod will give me only 10% on a HMG, not really worth it because the HMG base damage is very low. If proto basic had 3 highs then I would probably spec'd into it. I feel the Sentinel is more min/maxed and I like that, even if the bonuses suck.

Isn't this solved by just fitting out another build in the DS section and swapping between the suggested and had modules?
If no logi - just swap classes. If logi - hit up the nearest supp / depot and pop suits.
