We just fought a corp for the second day in a row on the same district (4 point map). Second day in a row where the lag rendered the game completely unplayable for one side, while the other side stated the game was lag-free for them. Both Teams had players playing from all over the world (Japan, USA, Germany, Hawaii, Canada, South America).
We have also played against very good clans that seemed to play at a level no where near their capabilities, only to find out after the battle that they experienced similar lag against us making it completely unplayable for them. Again, our side felt no effects from it.
Anytime an enemy player comes within shooting distance the game completely lags to the point of watching your grandmother's flip book of pictures. Same for if no enemies are around and you attempt to even fire your weapon.
Are the game servers having two separate Network entry points for PC matches separating the two sides of the match?
We've recorded the battle, and with the opposing corps permission will post to show in greater detail.
Anyone else encountering similar difficulties? |

We've gathered more feedback after the battles.
We had 3 DC's entering the battle, Those that re-entered the battle late did not receive the lag (Darth being one of them) after the initial entry into the warbarge did not receive the same lag that the rest of the team did. Relogging may have had the effect of cleaning up the latency for them completely
Suggestions for all those in a corp battle when it gets to that unplayable state: Quit the battle and then re-enter. It sucks to have to do that during the battle, but until this is fixed by CCP you'll be better use to your team by being out of the battle for 2 minutes than useless the entire course. |

Iggy (the recorder) was actually one of the semi-functional people on our team. We had about 9 others that couldn't even move or wipe their own butt.. But here is a taste of one of the individual people's lag and how it makes it impossible to aim, or really do anything. |
