As CRONOS space is out of the reach of this donut vs. cronut -alliance, they have turned their eyes in ROFL space to settle more economic leverage.
A smart play as anticipated in the CRONOS plan. The question is: will your coalition stay together long enough to pose a threat? Those sweet timezones are a recipe for shitstorm; after all it is more fun to fight in your prime time.
In the meantime, I think it could be our move next? Why does everything has to seem like a CRONOS or ROFL conspiracy, like they are really that intelligent? This isn't a ground war with impassable terrain. This is a space battle where everyone can be attacked so isolation is near impossible if you have the money
You're kind of right, but not entirely. See eventually everyone's money will be focused on other issues rather than just Genolution Packs. So, right now yes, we can go anywhere but it is preferred to stay close to Districts you own as you can use those clones to attack other Districts. I mean, two Attacks would cost 160 Million ISK, or you could have two districts send 150 Clones each to an enemy District and have those two attacks for a lot less than 160mil.
The way the packs work is more like taking a group of Paraclones and dropping them off behind enemy lines, it helps but is not the most effective way of winning.
Why does it seem like a ROFL or CRONOS conspiracy is simple, just have a look at the Star Map, and don't view it as a "We can attack from anywhere" kind of deal, but more look at the routes between the systems and such. |

CoH.. such a good game.
Now theres an idea for PC, using stuff from COH. But yeah you get what I'm saying, It is impossible, but it can be limited. Attacking a district in someones lines would be expensive, especially considering that once you're there, you can be bombarded from the other districts with clones that have already been produced. Economically, it's more beneficial to hit the frontlines and push them rather than attack them from the inside, but should you have a shitton of ISK and the ability to purchase lots of packs, you'd do well if you could launch 20 attacks on 10 Districts (so, possibly a single planet) and take it from them, allowing you to start producing clones inside their area.. But that's damn expensive, 1 Pack = 80mil, 20 would be 1.6 Billion (I think..?) |
