If you are putting yourself in a position to get "spammed" with AV grenades you are doing it wrong. A tank is not supposed to be able to roll up into a blob of red dots and park.
How come certain HAV pilots can pwn while others come QQ'ing on the forums? Cry me a river timberlake!
Start running in a squad and getting infantry support, that will help.
You want tanks to be a "win" button for you, if you get better at driving them perhaps they will be. Crying on the forums about SP spent on tanks as opposed to a forge gun is silly to begin with.
Even more so when you didnt include any skills needed to go along with that build, yet you added EVERYTHING possible to the tank build.
Meh
Spec into something else and do yourself a favor. That or learn do drive a tank properly.

That or learn do drive a tank properly. you cant read, I didn't say I was in the tank, im NOT skilled into tanks this build, IM THE AV GRENADER, and I stand by what I said, you need to learn how to read.
It doesn't matter what "class" you are speced into.
After reading what you wrote it sounds likely you are a crappy HAV pilot pretending to be an AV class. 
Why is it that I can fit Militia Tank with good armor plates and do well?
Couldn't be any tactics used right? |

As a AV expert you should have an idea right?
Even more so if that tank has a squad of boots with him. |

Let me try one more time for ya.
Then the drivers of those tanks deserved get get their cherry popped by you.
I called you an AV specialist because you have obviously (or so I assumed) speced into AV because you are making statements saying AV is op.
I made a few points saying your remark about 10 AV grenades should be how many is needed to destroy a tank.
I made the point of saying a GOOD tank driver should NEVER be in position to get poped by AV grenades. If they are they are doing it wrong.
I gave suggestions about trying to use infantry and roll around with you, that way the boots on the ground are less likely to "spam" you with AV.
I asked why some tank drivers do fine?
I asked why I can put a few advanced plated on a simple militia fit and do well.
You are ignoring everything I say and instead reply with "I am not a tank driver", "I was a skilled tank driver in chromosome". YOU CANT READ TEH WORDZ!!oneone
Here is the thing.
It would be like me using dropships last build, then finding the dropships are weak threads and saying how I am a forge gunner this build and my forge gun should not pop dropships so easy.
It is that, or you just are not very good at driving tanks. You seem to think a tank should be able to roll into a squad of red dots and park.
You think it should take ten AV grenades to destroy a tank.
My whole point was "If you are getting popped by AV nades something must be going wrong" I tryed to offer tips mentioned above but you keep ignoring them.
That or you lack reading skills?

For example, in PC vs SI i put on my dampened proto scout with speed mods and ran behind a tank faaaar away from anyone on my team and threw 4 proto AV nades at him. Took off all his sheilds and he ran into a rock and blew him self up trying to get away from me. Dident matter cuz i was on a hive throwing unlimited proto av nades no matter were he went i was going to kill him. I dont think that 10 av nades should be the magic number but 3 to 5 is alittle cheap to take down proto tanks
The boots on the ground (and the driver) didn't do a good job of watching his flank and something bad happened (as it should).
That scenario could have played out numerous ways though, and that was a PC match. Pubs never have the level of coms squads do on PC. Plus 4 proto grenades SHOULD take off his shields, what kind of tank was it?
It looks to me like you played it smart and flanked a whole squad plus the tank; it might not work every single time though.
If you were sitting on a hive spamming nades someone should be dealing with you, even more so before you got to that point.
