Here is my Gallente Advanced medium frame suit.
It can stand up pretty well against proto bears thanks to the damage mods slots.
Suit: Gallente Basic Medium frame G/1
Low: 2x Complex armor plates (or 1x complex + 1x basic if the speed hit is too much)
Low: Complex armor repairer
Medium: 2x Enhanced Damage Modifiers
AR: GEK38 or GLU TAC AR when I feel like using a cheap weapon.
Grenade: Standard locus grenade
Equipment: Standard Nanohive (working on getting the advanced version, as the standard one barely supplies enough ammo) |

Just an observation that Prototype are not overpowered.
Oh and by the way, they are the highest tier suit out there - they are designed to be "beastly", if you will. That is why it costs 100k+ per fully fitted suit. Exactly!! The proto users aren't that powerful, in fact most of them are extremely overconfident and think they are impossible to defeat, it just takes some thought and tactics to take them out (I've seen some "top-notch" beta gunners who are in the top 50 go negative and/or have multiple deaths, just yesterday one of "best gunners" in the game had 5 deaths, no one is invincible).
