So i just said get a starter fit call an LAV and run their expensive suits over, and about an hour later it was taken down. It saves money and i do it all the time so its good, one other thing if im being repeatedly killed by LAVs i just call in my tank and start railing them. So CCP its just good advice from a somewhat Dust 514 vet.

Fun times. I just think there should be a dropsuit mass formula, so damage taken is massed on mass. A faster LAV like the minmatar one for instance might knock a medium around but not kill it becuase it has less mass for it's top speed. The ammar LAV could be the only one that could kill a heavy but it's trade off is it's the slowest LAV. Scouts should always get splattered, even by the upcoming hover bikes. But seriously more variety please <3

That's not how it works -+ mv-¦, speed matters more than mass. Although my experience with my Mario kart tells me the Amarr LAV should in fact be the fastest, but with terrible acceleration.

Just like in the closed beta when people used dropships to crush people, CCP made an adjustment and now people can't crush people with dropships. If CCP wants the LAV to be used as a hit n' run mobile then it will stay the same if not then we will see a change.

I went 12-0 the other day with a best streak of 8 because of an LAV... that I STOLE. >=) I sniped three guys, and I was counter-sniped twice in a row from the enemy's MCC. So I got pissed and thought, "Kitten you, dude. I'll switch to my 4.5 million SP assault fit." I killed some dude when he hopped out of a STD LAV to rush into our little compound, hacked his LAV and ran over three of his teammates. Then I drove over to a rail gun/CRU/Ammo Depot that five dudes were trying to ransack, parked my ill-gotten LAV in front of them so they were lined up in perpendicularly in front of me, switched to the frickin MISSILE LAUNCHER the redberry had lovingly fitted for me, and evaporated all five of them. Good times. Whoever you were, silly LAV driver, thanks for the lulz. =) -Irish
