To respec into another suit type or not that is the question. For many people the respec is a way to fix a mistake in choosing a suit or weapon to use for their playstyle. With all the excess gear that will be in player's assets I ask that the player market be opened for business. To be able to contribute to a developed eve economy and be part of the One Universe more fully we need the ability to sell stuff like salvage and stuff we don't want to use anymore.
A reminder to everyone that the market includes buy orders, sell order, trade and contract purchases in eve online and should reflect that in dust as well. |

I could handle having it at winter expansion and would really enjoy the influx of isk from market trading. The liquidation of assets from last build added a large enough pile of isk that I can see already that assets worth hundreds of millions could be a terrible thing to pile up and then liquidate when it does become available as the market would have way too many items on it at a cheap price for it to stabilize in a short time not to mention the eve pilots taking advantage of the market to buy up even the most expensive of our gear and selling it back at extortion-like prices. On the whole though I expect CCP to release the BPOs of suits to capsuleers before opening the market, they have said they want eve to manufacture for dust. Hopefully the BPO seeding happens this summer. |

Bumping for an open market, be it a separate Dust to Dust market or a Eve/Dust market. Give us the goods please. |

I read it and have issues with the time frame for the implementation of the market. Dust has been released and as such is on the world stage, where is the inter-connectivity? We are in a persistent universe but the only persistence that most players enjoy is the completely stable NPC market. I don't want to wait another year to get rid of all the stuff that is accumulating in my hanger on a daily basis.
I have no questions, only the desire to see this done in a timely fashion. Dust a little over a year old now and as such has experienced many changes that have both benefited Dust and made the gameplay more rewarding. Unfortunately, isk payouts from pub matches, the main way most players make isk, has not increased nor has the cost of fitting suits gone down for average advanced fit players. Many many mercs are using gear skilled into with time and patience and deserve to be able to use something other than militia blueprint suits to make isk. |

Sorry, but if an economist says that Dust is not ready yet, then who are you to say they should hurry up?
A faithful client who has been here since the beginning Maken, also a former indy/missioner who knows the cost of every suit I use. I calculate and spreadsheet and make use of what I know from Eve to attempt to make my LogiBro fit as economical as possible to make more isk rather than lose it. ATM we are all missing something big from Dust that would benefit us greatly.
I've never said hurry up, but rather I have urged for a sooner rather than later approach to this feature. I like the idea of a Dust market separate from the Eve market to start so the joining could be a stable process but I am concerned when with each release nothing is said about how soon we can expect this and why it is used as a selling feature in the media about the game but as of yet is not implemented.
I would settle for an ability to sell stuff to the NPC market, but would rather see player to player trading. |

I agree a gentle touch is required. What I've been proposing could be implemented in steps, not all at once. I support doing this in a stable manner rather than BOOM here you go. That said I would like to have some small steps made rather than no steps at all to start some manner of player market. Research is all fine and good but a year's worth of research has thus far only brought us gear that is priced by skill level equivalent across classes and weapon and suit type. This seems like it should have been something that was implemented in the initial closed beta rather than during the Uprising release.
Now that we have a baseline for gear prices I expect that in the next 6 months we should have a trade, sell or build process to experiment with. Currently the only sell process in game is the sale of clones (forced) to genoloution by PC corporations, no player to player or corp to corp. One step at a time. |
