Hello everyone, I'm a very new player. I was not sure where to open this thread, so I'm very sorry if this is the wrong section of the forums...
As I started with the game I found it extremely cruel and quite unbalanced, but I liked the gameplay very much and I didn't want to leave, so I followed what's the most important tip for many players: Team up. Unfortunately, it wasn't an enjoyable experience.
I'm not going to call out any player's or corporation's name, it's not of any help, I just want to say this: I've clearly said I'm a newbie, but the situation I've found was really frustrating: Lack of communication, good players going away in search for kills leaving me and another rookie alone to die, or just camping away if the match was hard. The only things were told to me were orders, not suggestions, and they just opened their mouth to criticize my approach. This is not the way I like to play a videogame and this shouldn't be the way to play a videogame for anyone, competitve or not. I like to win, I accept I'm a newbie and I'm open-minded, but still this is too much. I quit the corporation, enough said...
My final question is: Where can I find decent players (so they can teach me something and I can actually improve) to play with? Not a tryhard corp, just teammates. Somebody who:
-Play to have fun (most important) -Cooperate to win the match -Really have the desire to stay next to a new player to help him/her grow and respecting his/her approach with the game
I don't have a mic, but it's not of use, since while my English here is not to shabby, my spoken English is awful, trust me, you don't want me to have a mic XD
Thanks in advance, really, every hint will be greatly appreciated!

Heidoukan wrote:Keri Starlight, As Raze said you can visit the Rookie training grounds for advice. Other things you can do is talk to the recruitment officer of DUST University. They are a good bunch to play with and you can be certain you will be able to train up, gain knowledge on the game and still have fun in the process :). Another option is applying for my corp :). We are a good bunch of EU players who always like to have fun. If you feel your up to it, goto this thread, check it out and apply https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=866420#post866420
Thank you very much, Heidoukan. I might want to join, after all EU time zone is perfect for me... If you offer a friendly environment and some help I'd like to be in. |
