Questions: - Does Active Scanners have vertical axis while scanning ? (x axis) if yes, is it same as horizontal axis angle ? - Does moving scanner actualy change angle (bug?) or starting position is taken and moving does nothing ? - Does Scan strength (precision) has a falloff over distance? - Profile Damper(s) and related skills are useless even for close-range scouts (more or less), is there any plans on changing this? - Does Active Scanners have restriction on wall material (i.e. can't scan some types of walls/constructions)
Bugs: - Pressing Scan and sprinting - works, considering this as bug - List cooldown of scan in item properties

I usually do 360 when i do scansions and it seems to work, but i can't be sure.

In my experiences with the standard active acanner, I've noticed there isn't a vertical axis angle. There was this sniper about 50m above me at about a 70~90 degree angle. I wouldn't have noticed them if it wasn't for the scan.
Sweeping scans the entire area you pass the field over within the interval. I've done wide angle sweeps (120 degrees+) and had my IFF light up like crazy.
I also haven't noticed a precision falloff over distance. I can still detect Med. suits (46db scan vs. 55db Assault / 50db Logi.) near the 100m limit and I don't detect the light suits as per smaller profiles (46db scan vs 45db Light/Scout)
As for wall materials, I don't think that's an issue. That's how I do most of my scans, through walls and cover.
I too, have noticed the scan-sprint bug. If you do it properly, you can cancel the cooldown and scan straight away. Also, cooldown times in the descriptions would be nice too, though the standard is 5secs.
