The basic suit has three lows. I can fit 2 Enhanced Armor Plates and an Enhanced Armor Repairer and roll with 400 plus armor for like 8K a suit.
Amarr are also armor tankers but are limited to only two lows until the proto stage where you finally get three lows.
Now I know you could stack two Enhanced Armor Plates on the Amarr suit and have 400 plus armor, but if you don't have a logi bro you're just SOL and you lose movement speed.
It just kinda sucks that Gallente gets awesome survivability at 8k a suit whereas the other armor tanking race (Amarr) doesn't get that kind of survivability until the proto stage for around 55K a suit.
Plus it makes my skin crawl not being "full" Amarr, but after the respec I'll probably go into Gallente assault suits for those lows unless the Templar suits surprise me and have three or four lows which I'm praying for. |

What level?
Advanced or proto?
If advanced I'm assuming you're using complex plates or stacked plates and don't have a repper with armor plates to level V? |

Yeah just can't bring myself to use Minmatar gear being Amarr.

That's my point, the Amarr suit comes gimped.
Armor doesn't regen automatically like shields so you need a repper yet two lows means one plate and one repper at best.
I'd rather the Amarr suits have three lows and have their ridiculous PG and CPU reduced. |

Amarr already has the highest base HP (Mine has 216 armor and shields)
Yeah I'd love more speed, but Gallente basic assault has 400 armor hp and reps at 6.90 HP a second.
