Sort of like how Hull works in EVE.
HOWEVER!!
The damage scale for hitting stamina would be painfully high.
Such as 3 shots from an assault rifle would finally kill you; that extra couple shots to finally take that person out.
Of course, head shots would be instant deaths and long range perfectly placed sniper shots wouldn't be affected either since the damage multiplier would increase the power of the shot anyway.
Just a thought. How would this change the game-play and mechanics of DUST?

Lore-wise, without these dropsuits, the recoil alone from firing an AR would shatter our arm.
If one of those gets through your armor, you're done. |

Shields break, Armor is pierced and....one more shot to take it out. |

It is actually exactly like that now. You have 1hp of "hull" it just does not show a bar (not much point for 1hp). Many times I have been down to 0/0 and survived by that 1hp. |

Have you experienced the "chest bump of death" yet where you are on 0-0 colide with another player and fall over dead to the clone died message?

They can make it more obvious though... or CCP can use the stamina bar as a representation of that 1hp.
I've seen it happen to me before but I kinda wish it was more then just 1hp.
Maybe go further and have a Clone Endurance Skill that raises that threshold up. |
