So you're saying that its firing faster than 750 rpm...with a single fire rifle that has a clip of 24-30. First, you can count that fast? Maybe you did super slow motion video analysis to ascertain the exact rpm?
I doubt any of that. You probably spend too much time standing in one spot, or running in straight lines completely out in the open and get really but hurt about whatever weapon kills you the most. I love killing reds who do that with my GLU-5.
If CCP does nerf the TAC - let me tell you what will happen. I'll pick up the best AR available and start killing you with that one too. Simple fact is this - its not the weapon that's killing you - its your tactics that are killing you.
Or just nerf everything and we can have a big pillow fight on Manis Peak - at least until someone kills some one with a pillow. That will get nerfed and I will have no recourse but to ***** slap you until you quit the game in the massive hissy fit that we all know is coming.

Moving on, I could, GUARANTEED, destroy you in a 1 on 1 with any weapon while you use a tac , any tac. You can ask others for confirmation. You're a fool to think that its not overpowered. Everything has been nerfed until the TAC is the only weapon that has its own league. The AR is a beginners weapon. The tac AR is an OP beginners weapon. *tips hat*

Heavy missiles hit the target once locked. With the TAC you have to aim and hit targets at range and close up. Quick scoping a shotgun scout who is jumping all over as he approaches is not an easy thing to do with a TAC. It requires more skill than any spray and pray weapon.
I'd consider this argument if I only died to TACs - but that's not the case. Lately grenades, LAVs, other AR, scrambler rifles, flaylocks, tanks, the occasional forge gun have taken clones off me. What's a laser btw? The only thing that seems out of kilter to me is the collision damage of the LAVs. Raging about what's killing you is pretty dumb, learning to combat it is pretty smart. Crying to CCP about it is just more tear-fuel for my dropsuit.

And the fact that CCP has nerfed everything to the breaking point is hardly a reason to continue down the same path. Especially since CCP's already said they're going to be increasing ranges on other weapons. And yes fix the LR, and quit nerfing weapons by modifying EVERYTHING on the gun at once.
TAR's need a small hip fire spread increase to force ADS'ing at mid range, and a ROF decrease to fix the QQ for what I believe is probably a largely imaginary problem of modded controllers and mouse wheel firing or macros or whatever the latest theory is.
I wouldn't mind a roll back of the 10% damage buff on them, but as usual someone stacking damage mods is still going to get very high damage out of a weapon.
Lol, but don't nerf everything about the weapon...right. |

But its fine right? I did, 7 rounds per second for max rof is just over 12. oh and here said video as proof.
Seven rounds per second is 420 rounds per minute. Besides being another reason to love the TAC, it's nowhere near that of the Duvolle AR. The max rof gets close at 720, but that's not sustainable nor accurate fire because there is kick and dispersion. Likely it's panic twitching or it's the fabled 'modded controller' |
