So, opening this event to people who didn't pay money is unfair? Or allowing them to take spots that people that payed $150 dollars could have as well if they payed attention to the blogs is unfair?

From what I had gathered is the event was actually brought together by Sony to get people engaged in dust/eve, not to reward people who paid money for something. Which is why it's random

How many dust players actually got the anniversary edition? Besides, it's better this way, for all you know the Templar you kill could be a me,ber of the CPM or a well known play like zitro. Random selection makes inks so much more interesting and can't be labeled as either
A) unfair
B) P2W

Note they said 300 players, 200 are random.

So 100 people are being hand picked by someone or someone's.

Figure it out and suck up to them if you wanna do it.

Think of it this way, CCP is handing out BPC's as a reward for this event, this throws out a large number of novelty suits, that will probably be worth quite bit when we get player trading, or in a couple of years when most of them have been used up. Why on earth would you give BPC'S to a person who posses the BPO of the exact same item?
