Still blazn Intergalactic Cannibus Cartel 19	Posted - 2013.05.26 12:31:00 - [1] - Quote I fee like my only purpose now, is to shoot turrets that drop halfway thru a Domination match.. O ya. and I can kill Lav's although it takes more than 1 shot if they arent the free ones.. Dropships and tanks with SP's into them, willl NOT die for ****.. Tired of it.. Specced full AV to kill tanks and dropships.. not turrets.. If you own a dropship or tank , just dont bother posting.. thanks

I'm not a fairweather fan.. swarms have always been ineffective for me. how do you kill a gunnlogi with swarms? i tried flux but if they have an infantry thats worth a damn its just a waste of suits. ive been running proto forge since i could afford it SPwise. the closing days of Chromasome were the best, 5 proto tanks in ambush. everyon was begging to be saved. our whole squad had assault variants it was a sweet time for the wolves.

Use only AV Grenades and it becomes apparent pretty quickly how little damage they do to anything besides militia vehicles.

I hardly see the balance there.

Nobody can kill you as it is.. Im seeing tanks just parked in city square raking in the kills right now.. and Im a fully AV speccd player I toss 3 hacked AV' nades at him.. hes down.. takes a minute to break out swarms.. get one shot off before hes gone.. maybe.. and its never a kill shot.. then they regen and are not killable.. not with swarms AND AV nades.. Now try this from a distance? top of a building? snipers get you fast.. impossible.. you have to rolll up on him with a jeep from behind toss 3 av's.. and just dump all your swarms before he notices to have a chance.. And I dont think a tanker should 'get' to spawn more than one tank a match if your getting 15 kills with it.. I dont care if you spend some dough..ask a proto suit how much they spend in a match if they are getting owned..???? Its all relative.. and im Full AV build who expects to be able to kill a vehicle..

Pssh, I've seen it happen and as a result we lost the match because the two most cognitive ****ers on the team had to switch to AV to deal with one guy in a vehicle.

I've played with plenty of AVers who use swarms, Taz and SCAT for example, both using proto swarms and laugh about how easy it is to kill armor tanks, ofcourse they have trouble when it comes to shield tanks, but Forge Gunners make quick work of them.

I hardly see the balance there. really, your 1-2-ish million SP gun(throwaway suit) beats my 5-8 million SP tank? tanks cost more SP, and ISK. so please, tell me why you should be able to just look at them funny and have them explode.

So even with proto gear you will still need 3-4 people to take them out. You also have to watch the resistances. If it was a shield tank it also has 50% resistance against explosive damage.
