EvE has nice fancy toys that require months of time and millions sometime billions of ISK to buy.
Now here in dust we don't have anything like that, I believe we do. Give us some really nice very expensive toys to buy CCP.
I want million ISK super suits, Land Battleships, things like that. |

I got 5 million of the damn things...I only started playing Monday!!!
It's like I'm buying stuff in Tribbles. I buy stuff, battle for an hour or seven and BAM! more ISK than I know what to do with.
I wish I could buy SP with it, I really like the lvl 3/5 logi suits. The lvl 1 I have seems a bit disappointing TBH. |

That's the thing. What is the moderating commodity in DUST? SP. Should it be SP, or ISK? I'd say ISK.
SP should remain useful for unlocking new content, but I think we should bring back general skills which unlock lots of items at once, or at least provide bonuses for many items (such as the Weaponry skill), however bump up the ISK cost for every single item, including skill books. Combine this with loads more item variations, more items in general and an increased ISK gain from battles and we're good.
For example, if we jerk up prices by 200% for everything but dropships, then suddenly they have that half price that pilots were expecting for Uprising.

Capsuleers which bring money to the game won't simply mean a corporation can suddenly run protogear 24/7, it should mean they have the ability to diversify without breaking their wallets. Right now, the SP system restricts diversification, limiting the dynamic nature that I really want to see in the gameplay and making every game so damn predictable.

Maybe they could put in a simple monetary exchange market between the two currencies. You know, in DUST you buy 1 iskE for 2 iskD, for example. You'd want to be able to donate converted currencies across the border of course.
Presumably, the exchange rate would be able to balance things out. |
