Soooo many complaints on these forums. How many of you actually believe Dust 514 will be a house hold name? With the release of new gaming systems coming up, how many of you really think there won't be a blaze of funner FPS's (which isn't hard) that will turn Dust to dust?
What's funniest is how the gamers are destroying their own game. Utilizing BS playstyles then chastising people that want a fair fight.
One thing I have noticed is the rising amount of machine gun users. As if having higher health wasn't enough, you now get a high ammo, high damage weapon. This will never be a balanced combo in any FPS. The machine gun is what killed Resistance 2, and turned a lot of people off MAG for a long time because by nature it is just too difficult to deal with. Realistic yes, but fair in an online game? No. I promise you are all going to see more and more HMG's as this game goes on - more still as this game dis and only scrubs remain. Scrubs who have fun playing this game because they suck at all other games.

Moving with a group doesn't really help much when you run into another group that shreds through your entire team with HMG's in 2 seconds. Look, I'm in my late 20's I've played FPS's long enough to know that no matter what the game, if you have an HMG in your game, it's going to be difficult to balance. If you have an HMG AND higher than normal health? You'll never have it balanced. Ever. If it ever were balanced then the people who want to use the combo would complain about how imbalanced it was. The only people who ever use JUST this combo are the worst FPS players you'll ever meet, so they'll go down kicking and screaming to keep this combo imbalanced so they can finally get some undeserved, untalented kills. |

FPS's don't GATHER players as they go on. They LOSE players, like every other game. Only MMORPG's gather players with time, and that's only if they keep doing things right that no one else does - which Dust isn't doing well. By the way, it took EVE over a decade to get over 500,000 players. Seems like a lot, but that's only 1/16 the player base of WoW. |

I can only imagine how pathetic and unfulfilling your life must be to have this kind of hostility on a computer. You need a better outlet. I'm glad your precious game will die soon enough and you still won't have anyone real lthat loves you outside of your family lol |
