Your idea has good intentions, but KDR is a horrible stat to base this on. What about logis and snipers?

You seem to forget that if you put high KDR players together, they will (assuming they wanna play, because most drop a game if they see good players opposite side) start dropping in KDR because they are more equal skill and soon you will be playing with people that kill you really fast with sub 3.0 KDR because they all dropped.

I think lifetime WP, WP per minute, (when we get that stat) W/L, lifetime kills, or a combination of all would probably work out better in the long run. How many times you kill someone vs how many times you die is a pretty silly stat to base rank off of and inspires unneeded elitism, boosting, and usage of gaming exploits.

The ONLY reason many of these players have a high KDR is because they have been playing since closed beta or the very beginning of open beta; encountering nothing but equal or lesser resistance in matches. i.e. they have never been victims of protostomping. They never had to face opponents equipped with proto suits, stacked proto modules and weapons having lvl 5 shield and armor upgrades, weapon proficiency, and accuracy, while playing in MLT or standard gear with virtually no core skills themselves.

As I progress further and further in this game, fleshing out my character, it becomes much easier taking these scrubs out while wearing only MLT suit using a Standard HMG. Kitten help them when I finally get my proto suit!

It does get easier, but it is a long grind. Stick with it, and eventually you will have your revenge on the protobears.

The way I look at it, when I get to where they are, I'll be at least twice as good, considering what I had to fight against to get there.

ok i have like 8.8 mill that is why i dont think i will be as good as them so i dont think i should have to play them all the time that is why i feel there needs to be a kdr tier system
