Radar R4D-47 wrote:Opposing this absolute monster Alliance standing tall in the face of immense power was 0.H. We aquired a district and doing everything we could except locking to hold it we stood firm. For 8 straights attacks we held that district laughing as our Elite force would not back down. All good things must come to an end however and we lost it. I rallied the troops and we began attacking with clone packs hitting each corporation involved in the donut to find a ***** in its armor to exploit and weaken. That ***** was the pride of RND. We took a production facility from them with 2 clone pack attacks because they wanted to prove themselves against us. However we proved too strong and acquired the last free district in Molden Heath. This time we would not lose it and allow them to achieve the goal of 100%. So we barred that district under lock and key until its eventual collapse. Upon unlocking it we did eventually lose this district and went back to the great ways of clone packs.
Fanfest was fast approaching and my dust career was unknowingly tied to the events that would transpire. Before fanfest i was the ever optimistic hopeful leader that rallied his troops and told them where we are now is only the ground floor we have nowhere to go but up. I had devised our month plan and what i had hoped to accomplish shortly after fanfest. I had been so enthralled by this game that i had planned on running for CPM to dedicate more time to making this game closer to the game that we all wanted to play. My enthusiasm was at an all time high the night of fanfest i was watching the stream on my laptop as the dust keynote began. Never have i felt so crushed as i witnessed essentially the plug being pulled on a game i had feverishly dedicated almost 2 years of my life to. The end of Radar R4D-47's CEO duties was 2 days after fanfest when i gave a farewell speech to my troops and handed the reigns to my trusted officer 1st Lieutenant Tiberius.
All the events that have transpired since have done so by my friends and trusted officers. Tiberius, Reiselia, and Blitz. These 3 have maintained 0.H and continued the golden age that began when we left Eon until the time of this post i know little about what has happened in a year since my absence except that 0.H has watched the fall of every other "Top Tier" PC corp while maintaining its presence at the top. This history isnt perfect as it happened so long ago but the events i wrote about did happen maybe not at the exact time i posted but all the events happened. This is the foundation upon what dust is today. The game isn't the same vision that the players shared in 2012 but it is still a game that one can hop on with friends and enjoy bullshyting each other.
So as always i leave you with a time honored classic.
Everyone's Favorite 0uter.Heaven Rep, Radar R4D-47
The in-depth stories for each war, especially the first region-wide wars when PC first launched, would be incredibly long but so captivating. Fondest memories in my gaming career were waking up to my alarm clock for PC timers at all odd hours of the night and in the morning while i slept on the couch in-between timers. |

0.H early on were lucky in the alarm clock aspect we typically fought from 22-05 timer. We tried to not make it an extra job and I think its why we succeeded in outlasting everyone. We play intense but also had fun. However early on every victory felt so great like we were accomplishing something instead of just flexing our epeen. Hopefully for all those still dedicating time to this game pc2.0 can give you the feeling of accomplishment as PC 1.0 did for the older mercs. |

Pretty much a spot on, albeit slightly biased, account of the first two Great Wars of Dust. Both of which were essentially against giant blue donuts.
Also, you left out What The French. WTF and O.H were the only two corps stopping DNS from Kane's goal of 100%.

The baton has been passed once more and a new group of players get to create their own legacy for 0.H, led under one of my favorite Dust player and good friend, who I spent the first year torturing with my ScR at a time when we were on separate sides of the battlefield, Zaria Min Deir. I've found her to be one of the kindest and sweetest players I've ever met... as long as she's not pissed off, and considering the universe has set out to ensure she never has any fun, she is evidently always pissed off, keep this in mind to whoever wishes to speak to the new 0.H leader, just don't. <3
But 0.H has always historically been ruled by a Male and a Female and as such I'd like to give welcome to Solar Qoio, who was the first new blood to truly rise upon the ranks, he came from fighting against 0uter.Heaven in bloody battles to commanding and managing 0.H as Zaria's right hand in even more bloodier battles. There was a point where I met him in an Ambush before his time in 0.H and he and I just started wailing on each other, duel after duel was finally settled at the final seconds of the battle where he jumps after me to finish off my wounded clone and we trade kills, a single ScR shot to his body met by a tingle TAC bullet to mine. I've always thought that Solar is the perfect replacement for me in PC's, except he's like way better than I am lol
So now I finally have a reason to stop playing Dust so much since I needn't worry about the fate of 0.H, I can say from experience that leading a corp like 0.H is not easy at all, and the leaders who rise are always faced with unique challenges that attack at their weaknesses, but 0.H always prevails. 0.H is in goods hands.
Seems that this will be the first time 0.H hasn't been led/managed by one of the original 7 and as such this will be an interesting new chapter for the flag I've flown so loyally for 2 years now, props to Radar for the great read from his perspective and influence on the inception and continuation of the corp's history, maybe I'll write up the history of 0.H for when Reiselia and I were leaders until it was eventually passed on the D3LTA Blitzkrieg II, but my memory is hazy and I don't currently have the time.
This will no doubt be a new 0.H with a completely new personality but hopefully the players will still learn what it means to have the 0.H mentality and the reason behind why those who are true 0.H feel so strongly about the vision and principles that were conceived 2 years ago.
There is an immense laundry list of reasons why Dust is not a good game, but the people I've met before and during my time in 0.H is the number one reason why I think this game is worth all the bullshit it spits at you, something like 0uter.Heaven simply doesn't axist in any other video game I've played.

Quote:The 2 power house alliances maintained semi friendly relations with skirmishes on pre determined districts to be held daily against each other. During this time each alliance bloated in power at one point in time the 2 alliances held over 70% of Molden Heath. Tensions were high as competition was scarce. Zatara had left TP after an argument with Cubs and FA was eventually created. One of my most trusted officers 1st Lieutenant Tiberius grew fond of Zatara against my warnings. So through Tibs 0.H helped FA get on its feet. Zatara used Tibs kindness and sowed seeds of war in his mind. The concerns were brought to my attention and the drums of war began to sound inside my corporation. We held a corp meeting every day for 3 days discussing war with renegade. Everyone voiced their concerns and even using my voice to attempt to dissuade the war a vote was taken and approved of readying the alliance. Valor Coalition was ready they chose to follow us in whatever we chose. Pradox also agreed to the war and thus we began planning. My origional goal was to have 0.H spearhead the assault on Kadlina from Sakulda however my logistical officer and second in command Reiselia said from a logistical standpoint Pradox has the better clone attrition rate to attack AE. So we attacked districts based on proximity. We chose a preemptive assault with a mass attack on all renegade districts.
12/9/13 the beginning of one of the last great wars. In the beginning there was Chronos,Eon,LoI,RofL,N.F and I'm sure i missed one more really big alliance. The wars raged for weeks but slowly the broken game mode we know as PC killed all of them off. The Ashes of all the alliances held Proficency V and Renegade as the last 2 standing. The first day pitted 0.H versus Anon, AE versus Pradox and Valor Coalition versus Cap Ac and DDB. Molden Heath was alight with the fires of war for the final time. In a single night after winning nearly 35 PC's Anon broke surrendering and no showing all remaining battles. A great victory for Pro V. This allowed Pro V to gain an advantage and attack AE on two fronts using Pradox and 0.H forces. Things seemed to be running smoothly and the war seemed as if Renegade would lose then suddenly Pradox ordered a full retreat and removed 0.H from its own alliance. Suddenly 0.H was on its own again for the third time facing down a massive alliance with no help. We held our own but with out assistance we eventually folded.
It was really good until this. It's a lot messier than the TL;DR this is, but at least the perspective was pretty spot on for a lot of major events. But this part. lol
First:
Cubs and I had an argument long after I'd left TP. I had gone with Reg to rebuild Imps but Reg left for PS4 so I took the players I'd recruited and Himiko and a few others prodded me to start FA. Cubs and I got into a fight once I created FA...
Regarding the war; I was definitely for the war, but I never used Tibs. I love Tibs. He's the best thing to ever happen to OH imo. He's the only player from OH I coveted because I thought so highly of him. I considered combining FA into OH (and offered the same deal to OH when you brought it up) mostly because Tibs.
And when you guys did decide to go to war over **** that seems to have been swept under the rug now for example like when you guys were playing friendly matches with AE (I remember because I was the only player not from OH invited on the team <3) when you guys wanted to play all 16 OH you lost a few and they flipped some districts when they had agreed not to...or the play you made for AE to join Prof V (thus creating another donut) but Kujo's response was "I don't want to be allied with Radar" and then Nyain left as soon as they heard because they had joined on the premise AE was joining) FA was there from beginning to end.
Omitted in this revisioning is the fact that FA played every battle available to us until OH burned out and started no showing. I still have the pictures of our FA/OH teams winning vs AE....those were some of the most fun games I've ever had.
And I personally risked the damage that I knew allying with OH would cause to my own newly created alliance to do it. Babar was furious and RND wasn't pleased either...But I did it to help OH. When OH was looking to get back into PC we gave you guys a district and defended it against our allies, again damaging my own relationships because Tibs was my friend and I massively respected Guy, Blitz, and many others and wanted you guys in PC.
And for a time it seemed like OH was there for usl. The few games I wasn't sure FA could beat NF's 6+ corps of ringers...I had nothing but gratitude for the help. When the decision was made to try and break the donut from within...Tibs was one of 5 people from other corps I trusted with that information. We texted frequently about my openings and throwing games against OH and WTF so that they wouldn't attain 100%.
Point is that whole last part was vastly oversimplified...and I get the idea that scapegoating "Zatara used Tibs" is more dramatic...but it's not remotely close to the truth.
Yeah I totally laid out reasons why OH should go to war to TIbs, but that wasn't an attempt to use him or anything other than me looking out for OH. If the rest of your corp found them as efficacious and convincing as I did then props to them for seeing the writing on the wall.
I don't pretend to know why you have chosen to portray it this way...maybe because FA won where OH didn't...and with nowhere near the financial reserves or districts. Maybe it doesn't look good that you took a handout from a friend to get back into PC so you have to affix some ulterior motive to it....like I said I don't pretend to know. It actually gives me cancer thinking you convinced people of this ****.

Oh and one last thing...that whole BS about 'we were winning until PX1 betrayed us and we stood alone against AE" is hardcore BS.
OH burned out by thursday and started no showing...burned out hardcore...which I warned Tibs about..I told him that if Radar didn't humble himself and accept help...AE had a much larger playerbase to cycle and thus stay fresh...OH's batphone wasn't nearly as effective and Radar only allowed a max of 8 FA...I told him let me take matches...
In reality the war was even until OH broke.
AE got eve support as well and that was a factor...Tibs could tell you more I spoke with him extensively about the 4 major errors that Radar made that crippled OH's ability to win the war.
But I remember dying inside telling my guys that OH was giving up. We stood by OH's sides until there was no more side left...along with the fractured remains of my alliance I laid at the altar as well.
:(
Props to Dubbs though....

There are definitely a lot of things left out from Radar's account as he acknowledged himself it was purely from memory and his own point of view, honestly this is another reason this game is so amazing; everything that went down isn't all black and white, there are so many variables in play and the outcome is often times not indicative of the intention that became it's catalyst.
Honestly I must say I disagree as well that ZZ "used" me, he merely gave me a very convincing argument but if there was a one mistake that I could not rationalize with an excuse it was that lmao; I don't regret it per se but I was riling up the entire corp while I was away on winter break, playing on somebody else's PS3 in somebody else's home, I actually got cold feet when it came time to vote for a decision and Radar, Rei and myself were the only 3 votes against the war, it has to be my lowest moment as part of leadership in my Dust career.
Radar just loves me too much to openly admit it was all my doing lol and out of anyone in 0.H I was the only one who was close to ZZ, nobody else was really the biggest fan of him so it was easy to pin animosity towards him, but I take full responsibility for the decision and full responsibility for not doing what I could to see it through as well. Honestly with that said I wouldn't change anything, everything happened for a reason, it is what it is.
Yet despite all that, 0.H is still here, alive and kicking, just under new management :D
And hell yeah Roman, fighting against you both in the battlefield and in the conference room that is our chats was an amazing experience as well. It's no secret that I wasn't always truthful since I was operating under 0.H's own agenda but our interactions were awesome, **** straight out of a fantasy adventure book. Hopefully there are no hard feelings and you had as much fun being enemies as I did, you were (from my perspective) the Baron Harkonnen to my Paul (if anyone gets the reference lol).
The witcher is amazingly written, if anything that is what makes it so good not even mentioning how beautiful the game looks (both characters and the environment), the combat is extremely intuitive and challenging not just mashing buttons to win. There are some bugs here and there but nothing game breaking thus far (granted you should save awesome to avoid them), sit down with your choice of vice (a nice bowl for me) and experience living the life of Geralt of Rivia.
And a final note regarding 0.H's history, especially to everyone we pissed off, we operated under the goal of providing content for our players, and that meant getting fights by making enemies! I've always prided ourselves for attempting to maintain 0.H as a counterbalance, an entity that will always swim against the current. It is debatable but I believe 0.H has always fought to go against current superpowers (until we became one ourselves, but we solved that by just shooting ourselves in the foot and being forced to rebuild lol), that was our appeal and I believe it is what kept our players so loyal and driven.
Let's see what the new 0.H stands for today, it'll be interesting to see because everything from the enemies, allies and the circumstances are unique to this new era, I'm excited to see what this new 0.H does in this new paradigm.
Edit: Forgot to thank you for the kind words ZZ, thank you kindly <3
