Morale is not down in the slightest. We just keep trying until we get a game with more than 1 bar of network, then we can show what we came to do.
Don't get me wrong, you guys are definitely a tough opponent to face and it will never be an easy win for us, but the lag is COMPLETELY against us. And so is CCP it seems as they have currently shut down Oceania servers.
But don't get comfortable, Radar. Your crazy-ass Nova Knife Scout should probably be running in the opposite direction in the near future. |

Radar R4D-47 wrote:Status of Osvetur Currently at war with ROFL Battles raging across all 14 districts 11 are being initiated by 0uter.Heaven. Current win/loss 0uter.Heaven has decimated all opposition and is slowly gaining control of cargo hubs. However our most recent attack on District 9 was thwarted by a well trained team of K.E.Q Forge Gunners were rampant and control of 2 objectives were controlled solely by them. A tank was able to kill our forces holding points outside the city and a squad would roll in and cap it. In the end we controlled 4 letters however, we lost by 1 tick our MCC had a null cannon hit it moments before a null cannon would have destroyed their MCC. Was a close well contested battle that was won by 3 members of their team my hats off to Dust Player Who was definitely MVP of the match. We will see you tomorrow. And as always "Be Prepared" Everyone's Favorite 0uter.Heaven rep Radar R4D-47
You know Radar, while your crazy-ass Nova Knife Scout may shyte me to tears in our PC matches, I gotta say you have shown a little grace in your posts here. The "hat off" to KEQ is exactly the gentlemens game style behaviour that makes you guys better to face off with.
Unfortunately I can't say the same for your Hellstorm counterparts. While they have been stomping us in Kadlina, our CEO is just trying to be a sport about it by sending "GG" messages to them and receiving "F-you and your ROFL scrubs" back.
Yeah, great bunch of blokes.....it's scum like that that destroy the competitive fun of the game. |

Interesting reading the comments on who left who and which Corp is bleeding members.
I can vouch that EVERY Corp in New Eden will have members that will rage and either (A) leave the game, or (B) join/start another Corp out of spite or believe they have found a better one.
The difference is in the pride of the CEO and its Directors. Have they made their Corp because they wanted to build something, or have they made it because they want to stomp people? Some CEOs may answer both, but in general those ones really just want to stomp and be the leader of the stompers. Those who started a Corp because they want to build something will not necessarily do well in PC, but they will outlive those that do and eventually build a reputation that will attract veteran Eve/Dust players and will allow those veterans to be whatever they want to be.
Egos will always get in the way when you have the best of the best on one team, so there can't be the expectation that an elite team will continue to stomp forever. However, if Corp members watch their teammates back more than their K/DR, ego takes a side step and a REAL Corp is created. |

KEQ & SL have been great opponents and we see them getting better... with our new talent joining and our team work greatly improving well be able to field a fresh 16 every match n execute our game plans like we should... then ppl will get true OH fashion in battle not a bunch of burnt out players fighting cuz we have to... well todays another day & ggs yesterday.. hopefully servers arent fubar... see you all on the killing field
That was not a personal shot at O.H when I posted that comment. I'm referring to all elite Corps in general. O.H seems to be gelling very well at this stage, and the fresh new team you have are gonna have enthusiasm for at least a while. But discontent breeds everywhere.
The test will be when Radar loses some of his elites to other competitive Corps, or to another game entirely. If he is passionate about O.H for the long run, then we will see a veteran Corp come out of this for the better. But if he loses enthusiasm, or his motivation dwindles when he loses some elite players O.H will be the next PFBHz. In the end, the CEO and his Directors are the lifeblood of a Corp and its longevity.
Time will tell. |

Radar R4D-47 wrote:Lol i don't post on this thread for a day and it turns to poop . Guess i nee to set everyone straight. 0uter.Heaven was indeed founded upon a Imperfects type system. Get a bunch of bad-asses together and **** face. However we created this corp at the same time PC was released thus giving our members a sense of pride in holding districts. The problem we have run into is too many districts for our small but strong player count. However we still fight. We have lost due to mistakes made . Burnt out of not it doesn't matter we made mistakes and it costed us the game if any of the teams that have beat us claim its because of their gun game that they won they are blowing smoke up everyone's butts. The real reason is we weren't able to adapt to the situation and thus their tactics won them the game. PC may be a broken system right now however it still gives corps like mine a sense of belonging and reason to continue playing beyond the burn out phase. I commend all the corps who have beaten us. Now that this has been said let's move this back onto topic. 0uter.Heaven Osvetur Battle Report. Major crashes last night cause us to lose several games and we lost the 1st district that was owned by 0uter.Heaven. We will retake that district and by Monday Osvetur will be completely controlled by 0uter.Heaven (Knock on Wood- Please no more crashes) Everyone's Favorite 0uter.Heaven rep Radar R4D-47
You summed the meta-game up on PC completely there, Radar. There are only so many "elite" players that can fit into a Corp before it implodes into shards of other Corps. At the moment you have lower numbers and it works well. Less ego, more cohesion. The difficulty in this is the ownership of multiple planets. All it takes is a few weeks like the last and burnout happens. It's a sacrifice that either side needs to make. Larger Corps can cover larger amounts of districts, but sacrifice a tight, elite team due to the fact that the numbers demands "sharing the love".
Either way, both types are successful. But the longevity of a Corp matters most.
The most interesting parts of the PC are the "mercs for hire" ie. Negative Feedback. Currently we are copping attacks from The Tickle Monsters who are funding Nyain San to win their battles for them. The dark horses are the ones who need to be watched, because without knowing it low end Corps are funding campaigns for Hire Mercs when they think they are just getting hired help.
That part of the meta-game is going to be the interesting outcome. |

Radar R4D-47 wrote: P.S After we gain complete control of this planet i plan on creating a thread similar to QuickGloves "SverPrime" posts because i thoroughly enjoyed them and it would be alot of fun to attempt.
Would definitely be a good read. I recommend you give it a try.
I'd like to say congrats to O.H for the well earned wins you had. I can't say I enjoyed many of them due to my poor framerate against basically all LOI, but I was always impressed by your tactics and the fits you brought into battle.
Once CCP get their kitten together and get these servers to actually sync up, I look forward to battling you guys again and test my mettle against you. |
