CCP/CPM : The game is borderline unplayable due to hard freezes

DS 10 G I A N T EoN. 313	Posted - 2013.05.25 03:56:00 - [1] - Quote Today alone I have had to restart my game 6 times in about 3 hours of game time (game time meaning time I've been sitting on my couch expecting to play/playing). It always occurs while in the warbarge awaiting battle. The last 3 times have all happened at around 00:35 remaining. Before the most recent hard freeze, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. That obviously didn't work since the first game I tried to get into froze as well. I have never had issues with the game freezing regularly. If it froze, I would reset and it would work for a few days before the next occurrence. Since the last update, it has happened repeatedly daily. I don't know what needs to be fixed, but whatever it is, it needs to happen ASAP. I know I'm not alone in this, and I would really like this to gain some attention. As it is right now, I'm to the point where I don't want to even try to play.

I've had it happen a few times, but my experience was slightly different the latest time. I was stuck in limbo between the warbarge and the battle itself. I could hear my team mates talking and taking objectives, but I could also hear the announcements promoting AUR and discouraging public suicide all with a black screen. Very strange stuff. Of course, I never have my pvr hooked up when anything cool or strange happens.

I can talk and hear my squadmates, but I can't pull up the XMB. Even when I'm waiting for my PS3 to turn off and the screen is black, I can talk to my squad. It's weird.

I mean, they're killing the game during it's prime time of the week. WTF MAN? I think im just going to stick with playing far cry during this weekend. This game is not worth my time right now.

I'm glad I didn't re install the game as that would have further infuriated me. CCP really needs to get a handle on this!!!!

Mainly when entering a battle, but I was told that it was because of the chat channels. Try to limit your chat channels and just keep the ones you really need. You can always go back to them if anything, anyway. Try it out, it worked for me.

CCP can't seem to learn that although you get away with doing QA against pre-paying customers it's not a great strategy against people you are still working hard to weasel money out of. Fail stacked on fail. With even more bad reviews coming out too. A game that's getting poor reviews, is buggy as all crap and is tied to a dying platform. What could possibly go wrong?

In the past 3 hours I have had 1 Internal Error problem and 3 I have been disconnected pop ups. I keep getting 404 error too in these forums.

I THINK it's saying I am being disconnected from the PS Store in a pop up on Dust and it kicks me out.

I reinstalled thinking it was just the Uprising update but I still froze up. I had about 11 chat channels open (had to scroll to see the last 2), I'm down to about 5 or 6 now and I haven't froze since I cut back on the chat channels.
