The lack of wp for the pilot is a serious problem, due to both the cost and risk of flying, and the helpfulness of having the ship on the battlefield. Down the line I'd love to see assists earned for a certain amount of time of a teammate disembarking, ie. my passenger jumps out, kills 2 guys and hacks an installation, and the game awarding me assist points for these actions. Maybe 20-30 seconds after disembarking. This would mean the pilots would make sure the lz is clear for their teammates, instead of letting them drop into a group of heavies. Same assists could work for LAV drivers, and their passengers. For now, I just want CCP to flip the switch, enabling wp for spawns. It's really not that hard. If they are worried about pilots earning too many points, add a cooldown similar to the repair tool. Every 15 spawns, a cooldown timer starts, and in this period no points are earned. This is very simple, not hard at all really.

An assault variant, that is still as fragile as the other dropships, if not more. It's like CCP refuses to award wp for anything but killing. Logi players can't revive properly, active scanners, remote vehicle reppers, counterhacks and mcru's yield no points... What gives?
