you guys every build find whats op and then scream for huge nerfs on it, then come back complaining about the nerf, how is ccp supposed to listen to us when we all say really bad things?
remember when breach ARs were too over powered? they could have been fixed easily if they just did a slight nerf to the fire rate and thats it, but no everyone went crazy on the forums and they nerfed the heck out of it.
you guys have to realize when you want somthing nerfed you have to take it down one small peg at a time or else you are going to remove its usefullness entirely and screw over alot of people that have invested in it, no weapon needs to be nerfed beyond usefullness or else it shouldnt be in the game,
this all happened again with laser rifles, and i can sense it coming soon with TARs,
this is what i say, only change needed to them is slightly slower max fire rate, and slightly more recoil, and just start with that, dont crap on its range or damage like everyone else seems to want because that ussualy is too extreme of a change, just slightly nerf whats op and slightly buff wats up, dont dramaticaly just change one |

Full Metal Kitten wrote:QQ gets too much credit for nerfs. I am a scrub fanboy for sure, but CCP is responsible for design changes, even the bad ones. Everyone blames the tear stained posting of lemmings, but CCP doesn't cater to the lowest common denominator. One of their infamous brands is HTFU for crying out loud.
In the end, it comes down to experience, priorities, and resources. I am optimistic things will improve, but I also believe you have to allow for adaptation before making changes. If incremental tweaks were introduced we would not be able to see the forest for the trees.
TL;DR - HTFU is not an insult. Adapt or die. Be proactive, but employ patience.
if they make changes in small incriments they can be on a constant path tward the right direction, they would have to spend less time working on future changes and just take things one step at a time, this would most likely mean more rapid changes, and probably overall alot less changes that just screw everything up, if they were just adapting at whatever pace they want then they are bound to make a change that goes totally crazy in the wrong direction such as an overnerf or a game breaking patch, and since they would have to spend such a long time working to make somthing new we would have to live with that broken or messed up patch for a long time |
