Would have much rather prefered to be given the option once they released the rest of the gear, but you work with what you're given I suppose. |

Good lord, it sure does seem that CCP wants this game to fail miserably. What game doesn't reset skills and items at launch from beta? Well, Dust apparently. I personally signed up for beta about 2 weeks before launch, I followed the super awesome, wicked informative tutorials (sarcasm, they suck) and started playing with skills, not having a real clue which were good and which were bad, but confident that my bad choices would be reset at launch. Sure enough, launch comes and surprise surprise, my bad skills still remained. Now, thanks to my passive skill point gain, I find myself no longer able to play the noob academy missions, and am getting placed into the real deal with players who know what they are doing, and have the gear to boot. I am still running around in my starter gear because I put points into stuff (like turrets... /facepalm) which dont help me at all.
How the hell hard is it to reset someones skill points? I mean really, this should be as easy as a single button push by a customer service rep. I filed for a skill reset over a week ago, still nothing. I have pretty much no reason to try and play at this point, so GG CCP. If your goal for this game is to have about 7,000 players, then keep up this level of customer service. If you actually want the game to grow, then you need to step up your game CCP. |

Or better yet start a new character, you've been playing 3 weeks surely that's not too much of an investment to restart. Especially the GÇ£playing around with skillsGÇ¥ part, man I am crying! If you don't know what a skill does don't just upgrade it like an idiot. I feel like you see a skill called cars and would think GÇ£that must make me better at cars! I like to drive cars.GÇ¥ When upon closer inspection it just allows you to unlock higher graded cars. That is what Dust does.
CCP have done nothing wrong here, if you skilled badly then deal with it. Sorry. |

What are you talking about? May 6th was a respec. This upcoming one is it. Last chance. Don't mess it up. Because I wouldn't count on another one unless theres a major change to skills.

I myself would be angry but it would be the fair thing to do, considering you have this PC gamemode it seems kinda funny how older dudes have near invincible status thanks to super weapons and super suits. (Compared to the noobies)

A respec on launch would be meaningless as we will face the same problem every single day that time passes, so unless you can stop the flow of time then I suggest not replying.
You see, as people play they will always accrue skill points and so if you start a character today, and I start one next week, you will be ahead of me. Oh and you do know that all beta players were reset about two weeks before open beta? |
