Somehow I have 25000 AUR and none of my friends have it so im clueless on that unless I paid for early beta access I dont remember. Anyways what to do with it? So I made a main guy then set it to have passive skill point gain. Then I made an alt to try out skill tress on and see what I like. I ended up liking the HMG so my questions are... ANy tips for what I would want to get for a HMG set up? If I spend 7000 AUR to get passive skill training for a wekk does that only train my main or does it tirain my main and the alt im using atm? Can I just hook up a usb keyboard and mouse to the PS3 and use it or is it a pain to set up? I have more but thats all I can think of right now. Anyways a good HMG skill tree would be awesome thanks. |

25000 AUR is not alot of coin,So I would buy some essential blueprint items to help ease the wallet, until you get better.
Any passive skille points would go to the player you placed the augmentation into.
If you like playing HMG then build a fast scout to start the match with.... You want a fast, lightweight setup when starting a round and a scout with ar,nades & uplink can get you a fast start...The uplink is a spawn beacon,so place it in a semi-secure area so you and your team mates can spawn closer to the objective. Once you have an area established then spawn your HMG and defend or load up a LAV with a cpl of buddies and do some flanking on the enemies weaker points. |

And when building your HMG set-up,just think fat, slow, heavy and hard to kill....you basically want to be a steamroller with a big a$$ machine-gun on the front of it. |

What would you consider essential blueprint items? And should I spend the 7000 on the 50 % increase in passive skill points? |

Lol yep. Is it good to mix armor with shields? Cuz in Eve its usually one or the other? |

Do you have basic weapons and dropsuits that you never need to restock? If so then I would use the AUR to purchase blueprint equipment and not weapons or dropsuits. Blueprint uplink, repair tool, cpu,pg,armor, shields and any other essential items that u may need....mixing these item into your loadouts will save you alot of money down the road.
...And also you want to max out your shield and armor the best u can. |

I wouldn't buy the blue prints honestly. They are a bit over priced, and most of the basic gear is very cheap.
You'd get more use out of a passive booster. And the booster is only applied to the toon you buy it on. You also have to apply it manually after you purchase it.
Just stick with basic gear for the time being, and don't use the good stuff if your not ready to lose it.
As far as heavys go, people say that its not worth it to spec into higher levels. I'd say you should only go one level into heavys till they release the new suits, then you can pick which race you like.
the only advice I can give you for heavy is use at least one aarmourrepper. |

I agree: I'd spend my money on passive booster (if you're a casual) or an active booster (if you play, say, 10+ hours per week). After you know what you're after, you can then buy BPOs (Blueprint Originals) of gear you know you'll need more.
Alternatively, you can buy AUR items to try out different things, but that gets expensive pretty fast. |

bpo's are pointless
honestly.
I bought them. And never use them.
if you want to run militia stuff they are so cheap anyway.
if you have aur spend on either boosters or use it to buy the aur level 5 of equipemnt at level 3 e.g. compelx sheilds as your skiling to level 5.
basically, "do more faster",,,, |

STOP SPENDING IT! Unless you plan on investing in those packs. Then spend it all you want.
But in competitive matches, spending aurum to get the next rank of gear helps A LOT. |

Militia Heavy Dropsuit Militia Shield Extender Militia Armor Plates (or if you run alone alot, with no logibro for repairs, a Militia Armor Repair mod) Locus, Flux or AV grenade (your choosing, lots of murder taxi LAV's around so AV nades are nice to have) Assault HMG (has 10m longer range than std HMG) SIdearm of your choosing (I use a Flaylock pistol, but an SMG works well)
Spend the bare minimum skill points to be able to use an HMG, and/or sidearm of your choosing. Then stop... try the suit out for a few hours before you invest further as you may not like being a fatty. |
